We stopped at The Albert after an evening walk. They have a book exchange, WiFi, and a nice beer selection. My date opted for 9% ale, and I enjoyed one too. The pub quickly filled up with the locals around 10:30-11PM, there is a pool table in the back, and good music. The owners were very nice and inviting, we... More

Went here to try and watch the Champions League football based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. Granted the big match was Liverpool vs Real Madrid, but when the pub says they show EVERY English game, then that's not true. Also, perhaps it's low-season, but the atmosphere was a bit rubbish and the pub were not serving any food during the... More

This is our 4th trip to Rome and we always visit the Albert. The hosts Giancarlo and Caroline are lovely warm genuine people who make everyone welcome. This is a pub not a fancy restaurant however the food is plentiful and very tasty and great value for money. You always get a great pot of tea. The bar served a... More

We had read the reviews and decided to go to The Albert to eat, drink and watch the Man U match. Biggest mistake we made during our two week stay in Italy. We ordered burgers and fries and chicken wings. The food was bland and tasted as though it came out of a microwave. We left more food on our... More

We found the Albert after a stroll past the Trevi Fountain. It is your typical British type pub atmosphere in the center of Rome. Most of the crowd were English speakers but I am sure locals enjoy it as well. The beer was cold and reasonably priced and the staff very welcoming.

The Albert is a great watering hole for the English speaker, or anyone else, if you're staying in Rome. Super friendly staff, Caroline the owner was great, hanging out with us late on a quiet night. We stayed at the Fellini Inn around the corner, nice place there. There's also a decent kabob next door. After being in Rome for... More

the place is lovely on the inside, maybe a little narrow, if it's crowded it can be really hard to move around, but the beers are good and the atmosphere is lovely. i had a lovely time talking with the scottish people that had filled the place after the rugby match, but the crowd didn't stop the beers from coming.... After the England - Italy rugby game we watched the Ireland - France game on the TV here, the staff were doing a tremendous job even though the bar was packed and needless to say it had a great atmosphere - shame about the result

Let's be clear this is a cozy British style pub near the Trevi fountain. It's main strength is its a respite from sidewalk cafés and completely unpretentious. Good beer and football on the tube make it a great place to slip away from the crowd.
