Delicious tuna pizza!

This restaurant was close to the hotel that I stayed. After a tiring day walking in the streets of Rome, we were coming back to the hotel when we noticed Babbo's pizzeria. This restaurant was recommended by our airbnb host and it was amazing! The food was great; it's known for seafood and fish so get that! I got pasta with clams for my primi and sea bass for my segundi and they were both amazing. They even gave us a complimentary dessert and little cups of wine. The staff were friendly... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and is just down the street so after a long day sightseeing in the pouring rain it was perfect. We shared a starter of Parma ham and mozzarella and garlic bread, which was lovely, I had a tasty lasagne while my daughter had a delicious steak (5*) and we shared the tiramisu that... More

We were told about this restaurant the first night we arrived. It is a lovely place just a short walk from where we stayed and the train station. Very clean. Staff friendly and welcoming. Varied menu with good food. The only restaurant we found that we liked, other than the Hard Rock Cafe. Portions good size and the food always... More

This restaurant is only a short walk from Rome Termini rail station. We visited it twice when we were in Rome. The restaurant is visually appealing and has nice Italian themed decor and fixtures. The staff are all very pleasant and welcoming and the food is of a very good standard and prices are reasonable. The only thing i would... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we did try it on our last night in Rome. The food and service was better than some places we found on our own, but not a good as another restaurant the hotel recommended. I would go here rather than some of the restaurants that have a person on the street trying to talk... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
