Had dinner with family while on vacation in Rome. We sat inside and felt like we were at our family dinner table. Service was prompt and attentive. Pasta dishes were perfect. We loved the staff and took some pictures with them. Highly recommend.

The staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. Also nice wine and a nice atmosphere. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors. It was warm evening so we sat outdoors. It's a very busy and popular restaurant.

I ordered pizza and my wife ordered pasta. The pizza was much better in our opinion. The pasta was good, but we have had much better in italy. The pizza was excellent though. Very reasonably priced.

I came here with my husband for dinner this week and I can honestly say we probably had the best lasagna ever. The owner of the restaurant was warm and friendly and she came over a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. Definitely would recommend this place for a good meal.

We used the external covered seating area. This had a fully enclosed side to the street that lost a little of the open air ambience. Otherwise the food served was of a good standard as was the wine we chose ( Montepulciano).

This was the first Restaurant we ate at when we arrived in Rome. From the friendly and welcoming staff to the freshly made garlic bread shape like a pizza. This restaurant reassured me that we were really in Rome. And its really close to the Termini Roma station.

Recommended by Hotel Independent (stay away from this hotel). Ordered caprese salad and Roman cheese and black pepper pasta (a spaghetti dish) as a first course. Waiter pushed an order of what he called garlic bread, but it was a very dry and hard crusted pizza type. We also ordered medium rare steak for second course and waiter kept saying... More

We chose this restaurant simply because we were staying on Sofia's Suites, directly opposite, and it was raining very hard. The meal was nice, and reasonable value for money. It was a quiet night (probably due to the weather) and service was efficient.

Just back from Rome and we ate here 3 of the four nights we stayed. The service was friendly and the restaurant is perfect for a quiet meal after a long day sight seeing. All the meals we had there were lovely and we found it good value for money.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
