Our hotel recommended this restaurant for our first meal in Rome. I found it to be over priced for good but not great food. My family's food arrived, but my salad came 10-15 minutes later, for a salad?? No bread was given, not even a breadsticks. I would have ordered a second glass of wine but the waiter never returned.... More

firstly the food, went on 2 occasions (wouldn't have gone 2nd time round but ended up going....won't go into the mundane details)...first time had their san marco pasta dish, was really tasty but the service was simply appalling, took ages to arrive, no one came round in the meantime, and the staff were pretty surly until the time came to... The place is good, a classic italian resturant/pizzeria, it's a too expensive for my point of view, there were just foreign tourists inseide, so also the people from Rome don't like it too much.

Good quality, very trendy restaurant recommended by our hotel during our stay in Rome. This was the best margherita pizza I have ever tasted. Loved the light touch with the sauce and cheese. There is a nice area outside in the front and many different rooms inside. If you choose to watch sports television that is available as well. The... More

Pizzeria San Marco is open later than most restaurants in the area and they are off of the main street. The staff is friendly and very accomodating. The wine list pairs well with their menu and is far less expensive than other menus in the area. The food is wide in variety, made to order and delicious! Choose from pizzas,... More

If you are staying in one of the big hotels on the V.V., this is worth seeking out. A short walk, there is outdoor seating, extensive menu, good pizza and salads, very reasonable prices and the service is friendly. The big plus for jet lagged tourists arriving in the afternoon - this place does not close! Open 7 days a... More

Traditional and very popular pizzeria recommended by Marco of Deko. Has quite a large outside area at front and even more extensive inside which was pretty full on the Sunday night we went there. We ended up in a room with a sports (Italian open tennis) television on but you can avoid that if you don’t want it. I had... More

A trendy, quality pizzeria and restaurant near the US Embassy and Villa Borghese. I had the best pizza of my life here! If you can't get a table outside, ask for one at the back.

It was the only one restaurant near our hotel that was open for a very early lunch at 11:30. We were the first and the only one visitors. Tried their pasta and ravioli, both good. Very big portions, one to share would be enough. Had to leave almost half on the plate due to size. A little bit slowly service... More
