The pizza is excellent, and the pasta is fresh and creative. We put ourselves into the waiter's hands for one meal and he produced a marvelous pesto pasta. Relaxed, good food, with a comfortable cafe along the sidewalk, on a quiet street. It quickly became one of our favorites in Rome.

So the food was good not outstanding : 3.5 stars would be fair rating Like many Italian places with tourists they put a bread basket on your table and charge you for it whether you want it or not We had a salad ( which was a salad) and mista di salume ( sliced cured meats ) there was a... More

I met a large group here in a back room. The menu was great, but the chairs were very uncomfortable. There was a fascinating display of fresh food up front. Service was great although there were some small mixups which were understandable due to the large group. Lots of choices of pizza! Love the huge variety of options on the... More

We went there on a recommendation from our hotel, loved the hotel, not so much the restaurant. We all ordered pasta dishes and they were mediocre, you could have been eating anywhere. My wife ordered one with eggplants, I defy you to find the eggplant, and the sauce was not very good. I had pasta with sausage, small crumbles of... More

Having been in Italy now for 10 days & visited many restaurants this one is definitely up with the best I have visited. Food was great, I had a mixed meat pizza. The base was beautiful, freshly made & baked in the open fire ovens inside in the open plan style kitchen. Great value too for three courses. Hidden gem.... More

We loved this place. Went there like 3 times. Lots of tourists but not tourist prices. The service is Rome style so you have to have time to enjoy a delicious meal. Food was fresh and supper tasty. Servers were polity and made an efforts to make you feel good.

I had a simple starter - prosciutto and melone, both fresh and beautifully flavoured. I ordered risotto with scampi in a cream sauce for my secondi and was very disappointed. After a couple of spoonful I left it. The waiter, who had been worked off his feet all night , asked me why I'd left the risotto. As my Italian... More

We found this pizzeria and were so glad. We were in the mood for some place we could relax and have good pizza. We were all pleased. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We really enjoyed it and went back the next day. Even though I can't eat cheese they had a cheeseless pizza for me which I really enjoyed.

We were recommended this restaurant by our guide and we weren't disappointed. It served real Italian food at a good price. Pizza was excellent. Real thin base with simple flavours just like they are supposed to be. The anchovy crostini was excellent also. Portion sizes are generous. We shared a pizza and antipasti but then kept room for their fantastic... More

The restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff as one that they actually visit. Although we did not have a reservation, we were told that a table outside was being prepared for us. I was somewhat disppointed however when the table was then given to a regular customer (which I clearly understood was the case since I speak and understand... More
