Went here for dinner, had the bruschetta prosciutto to start, it was amazing, the meat was super tasty. For mains we had pasta, the carbonara and bolognese were perfect. Although feeling full we ordered dessert, the tiramisu was incredible, my partner had the strudel - delicious also. For 4 drinks and food, it was €55 euro, so not too pricy!... More

We tried their bruschetta and red pizza as well as the white pizza. We liked them, but found the food to be average .. nothing special. But the cost was very reasonable and the service was good.

Nice place, food comes very quickly after your order is taken, and tastes good. Only let down is waiting around to pay the bill

Place was recommended by Hotel Golden host and proved to be a great lunch/dinner point. Excellent food, great wine selection, cozy interior. At evenings can be crowded and hard to get a table despite big size of the place. Love it.

Extremely poor service. We were seated quickly and then ignored for the next 10 minutes even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Now I know why it was empty. The gluten free pasta was raw. No apologies. Avoid

My husband and I ate here once during our 4 night stay in Rome and we were not impressed by the food or service. It was just mediocre the whole experience. We had to constantly remind the staff that we were still waiting... for our glass of wine or the Parmesan cheese or the dessert menu etc.

This restaurant was near our hotel. Our first night in Rome we were exhausted and wanted a good meal somewhere close by. Pizzeria San Marco did not disappoint! We both had the pasta carbonara and it was just wonderful! The price is very reasonable and the food and service is excellent. We ended up going back the next night!

I visited with my wife on a birthday quick break and came for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was humming nicely at 9:30 ish and we were seated in the conservatory which was perfect. The Kuwait Embassy had taken a big table in the restaurant and there were a number of other dignatories, which certainly gave me the... More

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
