Great ambiance, perfect place for pizza and wine.

Pizza was great, wine selection was great, I had a crisp Pinot Grigio paired with a lovely pizza pomodoro. We stayed in the Via Veneto which was a close walk from our hotel

Our hotel recommended this place. It was really good, the pizza was thin crust and cooked to perfection. I recommend this place.

The front desk guy at Marriott recommended and it got good ratings on trip advisor so we tried it. Our first Italian meal was good. 3/4 in the party ranked the bolognese linguine the best out of penne arrabbiata, pizza and linguine with marinara. Pizza didn't look good with grape tomatoes, buffalo cheese and sausage but flavors were excellent. Also... More

This is my first review and I regret that it is negative, but I wanted to warn everyone to not eat here. I travel around the world planning meetings for a luxury brand and try to eat outside of the hotel when I have the chance. I wanted plain, good Italian food. I was not feeling well and wanted to... I dont even know how to start the restaurant wasnt full and the service couldn't be worse, we had to go and catch the waiter to take our ordens as they were all chatting at the bar area with an unfriendly woman, guess she is a manger or something, anyway all our food came together, starter, main course... the table... A wonderful dining experience two blocks from our hotel, Pizzeria San Marco marked the end of a delightful day. Our meal was par excellence, wait staff was impressive, and the restaurant was filled with happy locals enjoying wonderful Italian cuisine. Thanks to Francesca at our Marriott Grand FLora for recommending San Marco to us.

This pizzeria was round the corner from our hotel. It has an extensive menu and wine list, all for very good prices. Excellent service and a great atmosphere. Particularly recommend La Bismark pizza.

Family ate here our last night in Rome and we were very pleased with the overall experience. There were many items to choose from on the menu and everything was very good and not expensive. We chose to sit outside and wait staff turned on propane heaters since it was a chilly night. Prompt service.

Thank Chris C

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
