Good find, centrally located, reasonable prices

Our family of 9 ate street side, but the interior dining room is quite nice. Beautiful place inside. We enjoyed our first meal in Rome at this local establishment. Service was very good and they were patient with our poor pronunciation! Our meals were reasonably priced and the portions were large.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Delicious food in stylish, modern surroundings. Really good, friendly and efficient service. Bear in mind that outdoor seating allows smoking and tables are close together.

Loved San Marco. Ate here three times. Great fun. The staff greet you with a glass of proseco. Food yummy-especially the artichokes! Good for groups, couples, families.

We ate outside for lunch one day, and, except for the nearby smoker, enjoyed a pizza and a salad. The second time, we ate indoors, and we're a lot happier. The pizza is always good, regardless of which one you try. Service was better inside.

We rented a flat on the via Toscana and wanted to grab something to eat nearby as it was already pretty late in the evening. The owner of the flat where we were staying recommended this place for great pizza and fast service and it was exactly that. One of our friends took a pasta carbonara and I guess the... More

After a late flight we needed to find somewhere local in Via Veneto where we could have a pizza, and after reading the reviews we were sure San Marco would not disappoint. During our short visit we went 3 times, pizzas were fantastic, thin and crispy with just the right amount of topping. Carbonara was a little on the salty... More

open seven days a week, all day, this is a gift for jet lagged visitors who are staying at hotels on the via Veneto. The wood oven pizza is very good but there are pastas and salads on the menu which are decent. Nice outdoor street side dining, inside has brick walls and a neighborhood vibe. Reasonable prices.

We love this restaurant and always wind up having at least one dinner here while we are in Rome. The pizza has a cracker thin crust and fresh toppings to choose from including wonderful sausage. The place fills up quickly in the evenings with large, local families so expect to wait after 7:30 pm. That said, for our party of... More

We found this place thru Trip Advisor before our trip to Italy. I thought it would be a good idea to find something close to our hotel and since it was only 2 blocks away we decided to try it for lunch on our first day in Rome. It turned out to be our "go to" restaurant after long days... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
