There are so many wonderful pizzeria restaurant in Rome. It is always difficult to know what and where to eat. We were surprised to find out that this Pizzeria San Marco served regional pizza from Southern Italy. The pizza was so well-made that we all ate a full pizza each and some salad to share. Thin crust pizza in Italy... More

The food was good unpretentious Italian food. Me and my wife both enjoyed our food however the serves was very slow. On two occasions I had to ask the waiter twice for the drinks we orders, and it still to long to arrive. An extra waiter or two would really make a difference to this restaurant.

This restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel. When we tired of walking and looking up places to eat, we walked the block or so to San Marco and ordered pizza or soup or salad to go. The wait staff was very friendly, particularly with our teenage kids, and we were able to sip a glass of wine... More

I have been at San Marcos more than six times, the food always was delicious, nice and friendly staff, I will go back for sure. Spgahetti San Marcos was just the best this time!

Went here twice..first night of five and last night of five stays for dinner. The first night, we sat out under the heated lamps, which was fine. Plenty of tourists out there, lots of locals w/reservations inside. The atmosphere inside was nicer. Bread was okay(average for Italy). This was very convenient location to our hotel on Via Veneto. My husband... More

I work near this restaurant and I loved to go there also during the weekend and when I've found out that I can have a carbonara with pasta gluten free I've been so happy.........but today it has happened something really... We happened to stop here for dinner on our first night in Rome because it was late and my Dad wanted to watch the soccer game. Our hotel recommended this place for that reason. The food and service was so good, that we came the following night as well! The staff were great and treated us like old friends. The... More
