Good for families and regular people without allergies

It looks more Swedish than Italian, but the cafe is quick to get through. They make no concessions for allergies (like dairy or wheat), so you might end up eating a lot of fresh fruit...

two coffees, two waffles, with ice cream, €50. We weren't shown a menu, just suggested waffles to us. Nearly fell off my seat when the bill arrived and then told no credit cards accepted! RIP OFF ROME, after a week of wonderful hospitality and fantastic food, Rome let itself down allowing these Sharks to operate.

We had "skip the line" Vatican Museum tickets, and you meet your guide next to the Caffe Vaticano. That is the only thing they have going for themselves....the location. You wait a long time even with "skip the line" tickets and most people show up early, as we did. So, this caffe has the perfect set up for people who... More

Ran in here to get out of the rain after seeing the service by the pope on Easter. As you can imagine, it was insane. It wasn't good, but it served its purpose to get out of the rain. Nope, only cash, no credit cards.

They have nice coffees, croissants and other pastries. The one item to be prepared for is that they do not accept credit cards and are a little bit rude when you offer one.

We were tired after spending over 3 hrs at the Vatican museum and the first restaurant is located right opposite the exit from the museum. We had no energy to go further without a bite. A tiny square slice of pizza EUR 12. A glass of beer and a coffee cost us EUR 36. I was furious but had no... More

After visiting Vatican City, Me, My boyfriend and my daughter went for dinner, the restaurant seemed nice so we went inside and asked for prices, shown a menu on the wall but later discovered this was the take out menu. We asked what we would like and we was sat down in the back of the restaurant, no menus were... More

One coke, one sparkling water, one tuna sandwich and one ham & cheese sandwich : 44 euro, and make sure you specify you want your change back as they seem to think they deserve a tip for their performance. Water and coke were nice and cold, sandwiches are crap. Need to say more ? As staff, I would be ashamed... More

Please do not even enter the premises. €71 for two for meatballs and spaghetti. Two cokes €12. One street 5 minutes away you will find better food and drink at a reasonable price. This is a con.

The problem? 33 Euro for two coffees and two croissants, delivered with a sprinkling of arrogance and condescension. Clearly they have enough customers who haven't been on TripAdvisor first. Such a missed opportunity for the establishment, but I guess they are making a fortune anyway, so who cares, hey?
