Wow!!!!

75 euro for 4 toasted sandwiches and 4 soft drinks....2 euro to use the toilet and a lady dispensing the toilet paper by the square. No price displayed and overall pretty bad...and yes we were ther because we were to meet out tour guide!!!!

We have just spent ?75 on two plates of tagliatelli, two coffees, two fresh Orange juices and two small bottles of water. They also don't accept cards, cash only. The food wasn't too expensive neither was the water. The sting was the other drinks which cost half of the bill. Avoid unless you have cash to burn.

We went to the Caffe Vaticano while we were waiting for our tour guide to take us around Vatican. Our waiter had the whole classic shmoosing act. We are from Chicago so he started bombarding us all about Chicago sports to the point of being annoying. They purposley withhold menus from you so you do not see the prices. Then,... More

Located right next to the meeting point for guided tours of the museum so gets a lot of business without trying too hard but consequently it's a ripoff. €8 for a cappuccino. €47 for 2 very average breakfasts and 2 coffees. Be better organised than we were and avoid this place.

While I waited to order a waiter came along and asked if I was "stood here" in quite an aggressive manor. I'm not sure what he meant because I clearly was stood there. I attempted to order a lait three times but gave up when I was served an expresso. The woman behind the bar yelled at me for picking... More

Our tour guide asked us to meet her here so we went a little early to have lunch. The waiter took us over to the food display area to choose what we wanted..plenty of opportunity to ask prices. Food was average and the servings plentiful. We had Panini sandwiches, bruschetta, one glass of wine and one bottled water. The total... More

two coffees, two waffles, with ice cream, €50. We weren't shown a menu, just suggested waffles to us. Nearly fell off my seat when the bill arrived and then told no credit cards accepted! RIP OFF ROME, after a week of wonderful hospitality and fantastic food, Rome let itself down allowing these Sharks to operate.

We had "skip the line" Vatican Museum tickets, and you meet your guide next to the Caffe Vaticano. That is the only thing they have going for themselves....the location. You wait a long time even with "skip the line" tickets and most people show up early, as we did. So, this caffe has the perfect set up for people who... More
