Lovely 1930's decor and fascinating kitchenalia. Proper tablecloths and napkins, excellent service, lovely food, good house wine, a little more upmarket being right opposite the opera house. Pannacotta and parma ham to die for. Possibly slightly overlit but all in keeping with the era. Would suggest reserving a table. Supper for 5 was €200 but that was 3 courses each... More

This restaurant has been our favorite for years. We went once 7 years ago on the advice of our travel agency and fell in love with it. Our waiter left us with a long lasting impression of excellent service and excellent food. We returned this last year and immediately booked a reservation to return. The waiter we had 7 years... This is the most favored of restaurants by Romans. It is just wonderful to return again and again. Rome affords a traveler the ability to revisit over the years as some eatery are ever there.

It's a family restaurant, it seems. Few tables, got busy in less than half hour. Waiters are amable and food is excellent. Definitely worth it.

The food is good, not wonderful, but the place is sooooo charming and antique, it worth a visit. It is an old restaurant, with all the things that come along! The waiters speak English and are very kind.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We went once as it was more expensive than some others but worth the experience. The food is of very high quality. The house red wine is beautiful and only 8 euros . We arrived without reservation but the front house manager was very welcoming and we got a table after only a... More

This restaurant was one of those recommended by the guide-book given to us by Federico of Domus Alberti and is within walking distance of his place. It was started in 1870 and still seems pretty popular going by the constant stream of patrons waiting to eat here. It's a little formal, but the staff is helpful and courteous. The food... More

This restaurant has a small but nice terrace where you can have dinner. The waiters are kind. The truffles pasta are very good and the ham as well.I would recommend this restaurant

We were recommended by Federico at Domus Alberti and he did not let us down. The decode is something straight out of what looks like the 40s. Very elegant. A lovely vibe. From the outset the service was superb. Our waiter obviously took great pride in his resturant and he was excellent all night. We started with the ravioli with... More
