The first time we ate here, we had stumbled upon it. Been back a few times since. Outdoor seating is good for people watching, even though the Osteria is tucked away. The Bucatini all' Amatriciana was great!

Very nice spot near Pantheon, quiet and cosy! Food was delicious especially Ossobuco. It is reasonably priced, we did enjoy our evening meal there!

This restaurant was so good we ate there twice and would have eaten there a third time but they were closed. The atmosphere was astounding , center of Rome and just around the corner from the Pantheon. The food was delicious and the service was first class. Outdoor atmosphere at its best.

We came across this restaurant a little north of the Pantheon as it was near our hotel. It's in a lovely little square and has a rustic appearance. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was first class, the best we had in Rome in 4 days. Our kids loved the Roman white bean stew for starter, the... More

My family ate here two nights while we stayed in Rome! We started with the Antipasto Misto, which included everything from prosciutto to marinated eggplant and a specialty Roman bean dish. Pasta was next! We tried the carbonara, zucchini flower, gnocchi, calco e pepe and they were all fantastic! For our secondi we shared the rabbit (which is to die... More

WE arrived at this restaurant at 6:35pm to enjoy our Roman dinner … we were abruptly told that the place did not open until 7pm … even though the place seemed to be ready, tables set, waiters hanging around in the dining room … the same thing happened the day before at another restaurant and the owner invited us in,... Fantastic food and friendly staff. The gnocchi - wow! I also had the tripe and really enjoyed it. Get the house wine. Very memorable meal.

We ate at the Osteria da Mario, which is right near our apartment here in Rome, one night when one member of our group was feeling sick. She had a soup to which she gave a really good review. I had a wonderfully seasoned grilled chicken breast - lots of extra meat which I took home! Our friends' other dishes... More

Outdoor dining in a picturesque square. First night in Rome, close to our hotel, and a Rick Steve's recommendation brought us here. I have read the comments about the poor service but we did not have that experience! Our service was prompt, friendly and by the end of the evening the place was packed! House wine was very good. Antipasti... More

This is very close to the Pantheon, but is not a tourist trap. The food is wonderful, the service was friendly and the outdoor piazza where we ate was charming. We enjoyed everything we ate and was one of our favorite stops in Rome.
