This restaurant is a bit hidden away, I only came across it while around the Spanish steps. It is up on top of a hill but it's worth the walk up :) My boyfriend and I went here for lunch one day and really enjoyed it. The staff are ok, not overly friendly. The setting is quite nice, there is... More

Located near the church at the top of the Spanish Steps, this restaurant overlooks the city and Saint Peter's Basilica. The food and service were outstanding. I had the lambs ribs and liked them so much, I went back another night for them again! Covered dining area, white table cloths, attentive waiters, good food. Value for the money. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental hotel at the top of the Spanish Steps. Not far from the steps there is the best Restaurant - coffee shop to ever have coffee in the mornings. We liked it so much that instead of having breakfast at the intercontinental we opted for coffee with croissant and fresh home made orange... More

We liked the atmosphere at Ciampini, at the Viale Trinità dei Monti, up on the hill over the Spanish steps. Had lunch on a cozy patio decorated with flowers and palms, and the best viewpoint over Rome just a few steps away. The tables were covered with crisp white tablecloth, the food was excellent (the best fettucine with truffle we... More

Will never forget this meal or the service. Struggled to find a bottle that would complement scallops (visually stunning in a green sauce, just adding to the impeccable taste and textures), foie gras, parma ham and steak, Giando, our waiter and sommelier, came to the rescue. He suggested just going with a fine wine. After discussing our general tastes, Giando... More

Great place with a lovely view and good service. The food is very good and the owner who is third generation is always there to take care of the guests with lots of warmth. The highlight is the tartufo chocolate with Panna . I could have it every day of the year.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. After reading several reviews we decided to have our wedding reception here. Marco and his staff were simply awesome. The restaurant is in a fantastic position at the top of the Spanish Steps, without feeling like a tourist hotspot. The food is sensational, service is outstanding, and the setting is just perfect. It was... More

Went to this restaurant on recommendation from tripadvisor. My wife decided the outside was too loud so we opted to sit inside. The waiters were kind enough to open up the inside dining room just for us (upstairs overlooking the square). The service was good and we didn't feel that we were forgotten even though it was only the 2... More

My daughter picked this restaurant from the reviews on trip advisor to hold the meal after her wedding in Rome. We went to see them the day before and was well impressed. On the day we had one part of the restaurant all to ourselves which was really nice. We started off with canapés which was just what you needed... More
