This restaurant was recommended to us in one of our travel guides and it ended up being a very great experience. Although we arrived early evening without a reservation (the kitchen doesn't open until 7:30 p.m.), they found a table for us. It really seemed like reservations were preferred and almost expected by the staff. The first waiter was not... More

Large restaurant consisting of a bar area, a more formal restaurant area and a less formal dining area located right beside the Spanish Steps (at the top). A fine view out over Rome, and a great little sun-trap in the evening too, although extensive awnings etc., provide welcome shade. Friday night is pizza night, but the full restaurant menu is... Our family loved our dinner at Ciampini. The house salad was incredible, as was the tuna châteaubriand which was sliced at the table and a huge portion for two. The waiter was most kind and helpful to us.

The service here is bad.The waiter was rude and inattentive. We had asked for more time to review the dessert menu and the waiter sent the bill for us with someone else. I had to go to the cashier myself to pay the bill as no waiter ever came to accept my payment. The cashier was also rude and literally... More

Worst service in rome thus far, disappointing, as situated in a lovely location. However due to smokers sitting outside is uncomfortable. Before we could ordered we were brought the bill, spoons were banged onto the table, and someone laughed when a guest ordered a coke. We left feeling humiliated, terrible terrible service

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. Lounge seats and good drinks and deserts worktogether. But service. Service is just toooooo slow.

We stumbled upon this restaurant walking from the Spanish Steps towards the Villa Medici, so stopped for lunch. We were made to feel welcome although the seating area was a bit cramped but that was mainly due to a storm overhead so everyone squeezing inside. The food we had was of very good quality, service was also good as was... More

Having walked by during the day we thought this looked like a good place to eat. We returned in the evening, we hadn’t booked so were taken through to the area on the left of the restaurant. It was fairly open so on a warm night it would have been good but when we were there it was actually quite... More

We were looking for an restaurant with a view and the majority are on the top of hotels over priced with tasteless food, so we dodged it and stumbled across this place. I had a good view but my partner didn't so whilst you can get good views it's only on limited tables unfortunately so please bare that in mind... More
