Good food at really good price for Rome

Food was fresh and home made. Ravoli was absolutely delicious. Small restaurant with sidewalk seats.

We lived nearby, and it was the cheapest way for a dinner with quite tasty food. There are always a lot of people, thus the place is quite noisy.

We were advised to eat here by the receptionist at our Nearby Hearth Hotel and were not disappointed. It was not a tourist restaurant, but full of locals on a busy weekend night. Fabulous Pizza and Pastas - nothing special, but good basic Italian food at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit

Close to the Vatican Museum we really loved this place when we were in Rome last month. They also kept my girlfriend's umbrella after she accidentally left it, they remembered us as we walked past the day after and shouted us to give it us back. Very good food and service. Perfect.

This is the best pasta bolognaise I have had in Rome. The pizza margerita is also very good. Worth going.

I go there every year and still love their signature dish. They also have take -out which is good if you are at a hotel in the area. Very nice folks too!

Our last nite in Rome was spent eating at this hidden gem. Nothing but locals eating and chatting away, The waiter quickly set up a table for us and made some excellent recommendations. Believe me, he got a great tip. The food was fresh, tasty and served in a timely manner. If you want to eat where the tourist eat,... More

Why give a three blob review to a restaurant were nothing is actually bad? I suppose, because, that is the definition of average: not bad, not good, just average. Let's try to be positive. Il Bersagliere is located three streets back from the Vatican and some of the intervening restaurants are plain ugly. Photos of the food and sullen waiters... More
