We stumbled on this place while staying at the nearby Best Western Spring House. I think we were the only non-Italians in a packed house but we were welcomed and treated well, not just by staff but other customers, obviously regulars and many of whom spoke to us, or tried to cross the language barriers. The food came quickly and... More

The positives... the restaurant was busy in the evening with locals/ Italians (which we believed was a sign of a good little restaurant). The pizzas looked fantastic. The negatives... I found a hair in my salad, my girlfriend couldn't finish her spaghetti carbonara as it was incredibly cheesey (very strong taste!), our desserts were shop-bought frozen desserts plucked out of... We stumbled across this place after our Vatican tour on Good Friday. My husband said "it looked interesting" so we went in. It's very popular with the locals as we were the only non-Italians in the place. As it was good Friday I got the Margherita pizza, my son pasta with Parmesan cheese and my husband (the npc) got a... We came across this restaurant as we walked by. The welcome was great the service and food was superb. I had a veal special dish and my husband had the lamb dish of the menu, both were fantastic and mother in law had a pasta dish and said it was good. Lots of locals eat here I think so I... More

We were recomended this place by the hotel as a place where locals go to eat, it was true, mainly romans, very few tourists. We had pizza, it was good, and at good price. The service was very quick.

Honestly, the pizza was not bad. But for starters we ordered one to share (weren't that hungry) and they brought us two. Not the end of the world, but then we got the bill. While the pizza may be reasonably priced, they then tacked on a euro per person for bread, which in a week of eating in Italy, I've... More

We've had dinner in the Prati area of Rome, not far from the Vatican, for three nights, and had good food thanks to Tripadvisor reviews. Thanks everyone. We had a very good meal here, sharing a starter (as we're over 70 and don't have a huge capacity any more), a spaghetti dish and a saltimbocca. The saltimbocca was tender veal... More

My previous pizza places in Rome were so-so, but in this place it was simply delicious. We sat outside and it was a bit noisy and very hot after the sun moved. Beer was OK, the service was quite average. But the taste of pizza overcame all negative impressions. I'd be happy to come back there.

I had a very simple spaghetti with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese. The pasta was aldante and it was excellent. It very much exceeded my expectations. My wife had a 4 cheese pizza and her desire for some blue cheese was more than satisfied. They put bread at our table but we did not eat it and were not charged... More
