Another neighborhood gem we found, during our one month stay in Rome, was this restaurant. Open till late - for full dinners or just a light repast - inside or outdoors. Linger as long as you wish and after the first time, each time when you walk by the waiters would greet you with a friendly "Buon giorno!". No problem... More

The flaky crust, the vast variety of styles of preparation and topping, and the exquisite vino della casa! Of all the pizza joints in Rome in closer proximity to our hotel, we went not twice, but thrice, twice for lunch and once for dinner. Tutti bene (it's all good).

Bersagliere was recommended by a few different locals, and certainly did not disappoint. The service was friendly but not overbearing, the restaurant has a family, home town vibe, complete with pictures of the owner & his adventures decorating the walls. The pizza was the best & most authentic we've had so far in Rome, very reasonably priced and fulfilling. We'd... More

We enjoyed eating at this cozy restaurant . Pasta and pizza, meat dishes are more than tasteful. Lots of locals, charming service. Not expensive, excellent quality for its price.

This place was filled with locals but we were made very welcome. Great pizza and atmosphere. Amazing creme brûlée!

We stumbled on this place while staying at the nearby Best Western Spring House. I think we were the only non-Italians in a packed house but we were welcomed and treated well, not just by staff but other customers, obviously regulars and many of whom spoke to us, or tried to cross the language barriers. The food came quickly and... More

The positives... the restaurant was busy in the evening with locals/ Italians (which we believed was a sign of a good little restaurant). The pizzas looked fantastic. The negatives... I found a hair in my salad, my girlfriend couldn't finish her spaghetti carbonara as it was incredibly cheesey (very strong taste!), our desserts were shop-bought frozen desserts plucked out of... We stumbled across this place after our Vatican tour on Good Friday. My husband said "it looked interesting" so we went in. It's very popular with the locals as we were the only non-Italians in the place. As it was good Friday I got the Margherita pizza, my son pasta with Parmesan cheese and my husband (the npc) got a...
