good food, average service.

Food was good. Service was average at best. Slow to take your order and not very attentive. Food made up for that. Pizza was delicious.

We visited Bir & Fud having been attracted by the concept and a couple of recommendations read online. Unfortunately, we didn't get as far as sampling the wide selection of beers and pleasant-smelling food, as having been brushed off by the restaurant staff we were then ignored for a good 5-10 minutes by the bar staff, who seemed far more... The best craft beer selection I've seen in Rome, and one of the best I've seen anywhere. Around 30 taps of beer from around the world, with a large amount from Italy. I had some delicious sour beers, and we also tried a lovely saison and a really interesting Belgian ale. The pizza was much wetter and thicker than a... More

Good pizza and lots of beer on this place. For beer lovers this is one of the best places if you want a pizza. Big bar with lots of beers on tap.

We came here one night during our Rome trip and it was really busy so decided to come back the next day a bit earlier in the evening. Great beer and cider we tried quite a few brews. We stuck around till 7.30 pm when they start serving pizza and it was nice but not amazing. Overall, a really good... More

This place is a small bar with nice atmosphere. Good wifi signal. Its well located near the main river, in the middle of a night life zone. Great wine

As a CAMRA member I was looking for bars in Rome that might sell craft beer or real ale, and this one fits the bill perfectly. The establishment itself is very interesting, a long thin room with an arched ceiling, almost like a tunnel. When you walk in the long bar along the left has an almost never ending array... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the selection beer. A solid range of Italian craft beers and a good mixture of light and dark styles. My girlfriend and I had one of the best lagers I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The pizza selection was good, but the taste was even better. I had the calzone with prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella and a... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
