We read about Bir & Fud (Food & Wine maybe?) in a magazine before we visited Rome. So after wandering the flea market we kept wandering and found Bir & Fud. Don't let the tiny store front stop you if it's crowded - the seating goes way back into a tented area. One of the best pizzas we had out... More

We only had pizza here, even though the remainder of the menu looked very interesting, mostly with small dishes that could be shared. This would be a great place to come with friends to have drinks and to have their version of bar food, including home made potato crisps, hommous, arancini, calzoncini etc. They have an extensive selection of artisan... All except one in our group thoroughly enjoyed visiting this beer bar with an incredible selection of different beers. Unfortunately they did not have any wine or cider for the one in our group who cannot drink beer, which is a shame! We would have stayed much longer and tried more beers if only they could have served something else... More

... but I rather suggest going at lunch time and unleashing chef Antonella! Yes, she is back as good as ever in the renovated venue, ready to invent something new for you every day!

great, staff, very accommodating, explained every item on the specials menu. Were very knowledgeable about their birs and gave as many tastes as needed to find the right one. the sausage, potato pizza was killer and one is enough for three with another 2-3 birs each.

Great beer, great staff, great food, great location. If only they would put a note in the window when they go on vacation!!

Unfortunately we were treated very badly when we tried to get a table in front of the establishment. Pure arrogance and it became worse when I entered the place to find a table inside, I was simple asked to leave in a very rude manner and told they were full (which was not true...). Both folks must have had a... More

If you want eat well done and tasty pizza you should eat at this place. In Rome there are very few places were pizza is made with quality flour mix and right leavening of the dough, especially in touristic places, were restaurateurs don't care about offering good food, cause they are not interested in client satisfaction. They tourists come and... More

This is one of the places to be if you want to try "birra artigianale" in Roma. The place has a variety of beers that makes you order one after another :) You can also eat, hence the "fud" in "bir & fud" :) Choose from fried stuff, pizza and starters. It's a perfect place for a dinner out with... More

We were told about this place by a local on our first afternoon in Rome. It was a great little venue for trying different different beers. If you manage in get a table outside....don't move. A fun way to spend an hour or two watching the world go by. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful when trying to decide... More
