If you are after hugs, smiles or eye-contact go elsewhere. This place is all about Italian food that is cooked well and served efficiently. Clean, fresh, modern-Provance like decor. Very reasonable prices for a good quality meal made of fresh and fragrant ingredients that cannot be found in the UK. Their pizza's are divine and the starters and dessert were... More

I go here at least once or twice a year. I love their choices of appetizer (especially the bruschetta con ciauscolo e stracchino), their pizzas, and their desserts. It's a classic that does not let you down. It's a great place for a romantic date or a family dinner. It's better to call and reserve, because some evenings can be... More

A five minute walk from our hotel, and having read previous Trip Advisor reviews, we were looking forward to dining at Pepe Verde. On most levels we were not disappointed. We shared a great Tuscan entree of a delicious pecorino with pear and honey followed by a brilliant tuna steak dish with orange and olives, and a baked salmon with... More

This appears to be a new restaurant in a relatively quiet, upscale neighborhood (we stayed at nearby Relais 6 - excellent!). The food is delicious - very fresh and beautifully prepared. Of special note is the pizza - the fellow who works the wood-fired oven is a true maestro. We watched box after box of pizza walk out the door... More

We stayed in the Parioli district which is quite far from the centre of Rome, but found Pepe Verde by accident. It is a friendly relaxed restaurant, spotlessly clean ( even the toilets!) the staff are helpful and friendly even though they are mostly rushed off their feet. We were amazed at how busy this place is, diners were coming... More

Terrific local restaurant that serves wonderful fresh meals. Quick service and a nice clean atmosphere to eat. Appears very popular with the locals which we took to be a good sign.

This welcoming restaurant is like eating out with family and freinds. Being in a residential area it is primarily locals who eat here but they have English menus to help the occassional tourist. The staff were warm, the restaurant was full each night and very vibrant. Finally and importantly the cuisine was great and the desserts are to die for!... More

Very pleasant atmosphere on a Sunday evening, full of local people eating one course or many. Staff were very friendly and the food, whilst not fine dining was very good value. We had bruschetti to start with and I had trofie with vongole and sun dried tomatoes to follow. My husband had orecchiette with octopus in a lemony, potato sauce,... More

Recommended by the receptionist at Relais6. Whilst the food was very enjoyable, the waitresses and waiters were a miserable bunch. I had the mixed seafood grill, my wife had baked salmon in a almond & honey glazed crust and our daughter had the 4 cheeses pizza. The deserts were not what we ordered but having waited long enough, we ate... More

We ate here twice during our 4 night stay. The food and service are good. The ambiance is lively. We enjoyed being surrounded by local families.
