we went there on the recommendation of the Hotel Capo D Africa. Nice restaurant and good food but they charged us a 13Euro cover charge for a regular Tuesday night. A bit excessive for a 100Euro meal. Don't know how they can justify this

Excellent food with a really helpful waiter who talked through the menu even though they were close to closing time. Try the seafood linguine. A short walk from the Colosseum but worth making the effort and much cheaper than most restaurants in the area.

We enjoyed one of the best meals we had in a week in Rome. With so many small eating places from which to choose, the front desk at our hotel recommended the Isidoro and were were not disappointed. An excellent, varied menu, friendly and prompt service yet a relaxed atmosphere, a fine wine selection, and after dessert, the waiter offer... More

While staying in Rome at the Hotel Lancelot we found this restaurant on tripadvisor. It was very close to the hotel and an easy walk. The kitchen doesnt open until 7 so we were a few minutes early. They sat us and offered wine, bread and water, while we looked over the menu. After some antipasto and the buffalo mozzarella... More

We ate at this restaurant while we were seeing the sights in Rome. It is very near the Coliseum. The food was very good. We ordered a couple of appetizers and had some of the pasta dishes. We enjoyed everything! The ambience is very nice too... european and cozy. The service was also good.

This is just a great restaurant. The tasting menu is more than enough to satisfy you. Add a bottle of wine, and you will have a delicious meal. The service is attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is excellent and the menu offers many choices. We went back twice in three nights.

We went here whilst in Rome for the rugby, so restaurant availability was in short supply. We were lucky that this was local to where we were staying. We both had very good meals that were obviously cooked with care and with local ingredients. The local wine was also of very good quality and cheap. This is well worth a... More

This was hands down the best dinner we had in Rome. The setting is warm and intimate and the food is delicious. The beef with balsamic vinegar was a standout!

We saw this place two years ago in Rome and were interested in it solely because of the name being that of a close friend. This trip that friend was with us and we knew we had to try it. We were not at all disappointed. We ate here twice, lunch and dinner It is near the colosseum but not... More
