We walked from our hotel to this restaurant. The courtyard in back is very nice. It was good, and the waiter was helpful with the wine selection. There is an antipasti buffet that we did not partake of. Fortunately we were able to get our order in ad served before a party of 12 arrived, or the serrvice may have... More

Had dinner here Set 28. Don't think a Roman has ever set foot in this restaurant - both staff and customers. On the plus side food was good, and the courtyard in the back nice. Service was competent, typical Mediterranean machismo. On the negative side, the house wine is undrinkable but cheap! The restaurant charges downtown prices but the physical... More

We were staying at a hotel on this street, so stopped here for lunch on our way back from sightseeing. Though they have a lovely garden area out back, it was a hot day so we enjoyed eating inside. My husband had the spaghetti carbanara which he said was very good. I took advantage of the antipasti buffet which consisted... More

We are Australians and are completing 3.5 weeks in Italy. Had no real problems the food was good wine was good but was upsold to a much more expensive bottle. The real shock came when for the first time in Italy, and totally unannounced we cop a 10 per cent service on the bill. Also gelt ripped off when they... More

Recommended by our hotel we had dinner here on our first night in Rome. They have a lovely enclosed garden at the back, crammed with locals and tourists alike. Tasty food, great atmosphere and good wine. Highly recommend pasta with wild boar meat sauce as well as pasta with mushroom, truffle and cream sauce. Actually went back there twice!

Food was good at reasonable prices, however the experience was ruined with the shady service. We noticed that a lot of tourists ate at this restaurant and I noticed that the waiter was incredibly nice to everyone (e.g., asked them where they were staying, where they came from, made a few jokes, etc.) and he also gave bread to everyone... We loved this restaurant! The food was such high quality, the restaurant was comfortable, and the service was fantastic (they even put a candle in our birthday friend's creme brûlée, turned out the lights, and sang to him)! After a rough day (being robbed in our hotel room while we slept), this restaurant truly made the end of our trip... More

Had two different pasta dishes and both were amazing. One was a mushroom with cream sauce called bambollie (spelling) and the other was the carbonara (spelling). We also sat outside in the garden which was really nice.

This family owned trattoria is very close to a piazza venezia. The menu is extensive and selections are reasonably priced. The portions are generous, especially the pasta dishes which will satisfy every carb lover. The lamb served "Al boschetto" is from the owners farm. Delicious indeed!

Took us a good 15-20 mins to get asked for a drink, and a good 5-10 mins before that came. Family on the next table left aftr waiting and waiting, but once the order was in, food came quick. We had bruchetta and antipasti starters, carbonara, lasagne and fettuchini, all very good. Polished off with a ltr house red, medium... More
