Food was good at reasonable prices, however the experience was ruined with the shady service. We noticed that a lot of tourists ate at this restaurant and I noticed that the waiter was incredibly nice to everyone (e.g., asked them where they were staying, where they came from, made a few jokes, etc.) and he also gave bread to everyone... We loved this restaurant! The food was such high quality, the restaurant was comfortable, and the service was fantastic (they even put a candle in our birthday friend's creme brûlée, turned out the lights, and sang to him)! After a rough day (being robbed in our hotel room while we slept), this restaurant truly made the end of our trip... More

Had two different pasta dishes and both were amazing. One was a mushroom with cream sauce called bambollie (spelling) and the other was the carbonara (spelling). We also sat outside in the garden which was really nice.

This family owned trattoria is very close to a piazza venezia. The menu is extensive and selections are reasonably priced. The portions are generous, especially the pasta dishes which will satisfy every carb lover. The lamb served "Al boschetto" is from the owners farm. Delicious indeed!

Took us a good 15-20 mins to get asked for a drink, and a good 5-10 mins before that came. Family on the next table left aftr waiting and waiting, but once the order was in, food came quick. We had bruchetta and antipasti starters, carbonara, lasagne and fettuchini, all very good. Polished off with a ltr house red, medium... More

I am ultimately mad because I was ripped off. They charged me 14 euro for 3 sliced porcini mushrooms and a 10% service charge on my bill! The food was decent but you cant go wrong in Italy with food so you hope for a good price and more than decent quality when dining. Complete insult as a tourist.

A village-like atmosphere with friendly staff & a buffet if you prefer. The eggplant & zucchini are marvelous!

I return again and again. Having tried some other restaurants in the area nothing compairs to the fresh dishes from beef , chicken , rice or pasta honestly hard to find something not to want , the extensive knowledge of wines to accomplish you choice of food is an added bonus , charming service is not to be missed .... Returned to this restaurant after 4 years and confirmed that it has the most reasonable prices in Rome. After days being bluntly robbed in the streets of rome (pizza the size of a toast sold at 4eur!) I decided to go to this restaurant for comfort and was not disappointed. Had starter, main course and desert for 3 persons @... More
