As we arrived, a friendly waiter seated us. My wife ordered a pizza Margherita and I an oxtail stew. As there was no sidedish for the stew I also took some fried potato. Than the waiter informed me that they have no more oxtail, so I swiched to roasted lamb, which comes with potato and salad. When the food arrived,... More

Well, the place offers good tasty food, but I cannot agree that this is "top-of-the-pops" or "best in Rome" or whatever comments I've seen here from people. The food is simple served and tasty. The red house wine is average-to-good. It's few of the good places around that works during Sundays. I hate that they charge you a SERVICE FEE... More

IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE. The food its ok. But the plates were small and we wanted 2 plates on person. But the most problem is the price. The price for 7 plates and 2 salads wine and 6 sweets is allmost 200€. The charged with the menu has a different prices. And when we asked the bill to pay we... More

Saturday night we were at this restaurant near the mountains of the district. The service was professional and simpatico.Abbiamo ate a delicious lasagna and a special tiramisu 'made by the owner. Thanks for the pleasant evening.

We had the last meal of our short break in Rome here on Tuesday 9 December. The food was OK although the fish we had as a second course was almost cold when it was served. What we had not bargained for though, was a 15% service charge. Whilst I don't mind paying a service charge if it is 'upfront',... More

Had lunch last saturday with a group of friends, located in the city centre within a characteristic roman street. Food was amazing and the service (family owned) was perfect. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Rome.

We specifically chose this restaurant due to its good reviews. On arrival it seems a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, however our experience was that unless you are italian, then the waiters are not really interested in serving you. Our starters and main ( just average food, nothing special ) came one after the other then we had to... More

The food and wine were lovely - seafood pasta and clam gnocchi, but it's not cheap. 2 euros for tap water and whopping 17% service charge…. put a real dampener on the evening. There are better places next door on either side.

Al Boschetto was one of several restaurants that had been thrown up in an on-line search and sounded good. It woul dnot have been our first choice, having read reviews, but the weather was poor, so we went for it as the closest to our hotel. We were not disappointed. The reception was enthusiastic and friendly; we were not rushed... More

My husband and I have just come back from a weekend away in Rome and by the third day we had, had enough of pizza and pasta (which a lot of high street restaurant menus seem to consist of). One evening we came across this fabulous quaint restaurant filled with a variety of food. The restaurant was extremely busy which... More
