The Library is unquestionably one of the most quaint and romantic places my husband and I have ever dined. I had really high hopes, as this was our last dinner on our honeymoon. We arrived a bit early for our reservation. The waiter looked at us like we had three heads. No biggie. He got over it and was able... More

My fiancé and I came here a day after he proposed. Lovely food and staff. Very welcoming. It was the most intimate setting and perfect end to such an amazing weekend away. With only 6 tables in the whole restaurant it created a romantic atmosphere. The hand written menus with hand held torches were a nice touch. We thought it... More

Based on reviews on tripadvisor I suggested my parents have dinner in The Library while in Rome for their 60th Birthday- the reviews were amazing & photos looks fabulous. They arrived at the restaurant & were impressed with the décor, they said it was a beautiful little restaurant. The staff brought down glasses of processo but afterwards my father was... More

First of all they had a problem with the delivery, so they could only show us one appetizer. Then they had a problem with the credit card machine so we had to pay cash. I asked for two wines they did not have them. There was two employs that night, one was serving, the other, one I don’t know… He... More

What a beautiful little restaurant, such a change from the busy, often loud and bright restaurants of Rome. So so cozy, perfect music, perfect ambience to have a couples night out. Besides the decor, the service was amazing, the fellow who served us was so great and attentive. The food was to die for, loved everything! Great experience, will recommend... More

Perfect anniversary date. Waiter was fluent in English, very knowledgable about the menu and drinks, offered a few suggestions and the meal was wonderful.

A little pricy but worth it for a treat. This boutique restaurant is a real find - although recommended by our concierge which is always a great validation. Only 5 tables available with one very lovely and attentive waitress who is on hand but never intrusive. If you're here to eat you're here all night with no pressure to eat... More

This was the last stop of our holiday and we'll worth the wait. Just a few tables in this restaraunt so each one receives the personal touch. Great food and fantastic ambience. If your looking for a romantic place, this is the one.

My husband and I were travelling with friends over Christmas and had dinner here Friday night. We had the restaurant to ourselves. It was cozy, no more than 7 tables, and the waitress was so sweet and helpful. There was so much on the menu that we wanted and she provided valuable recommendations. We started with the meat/cheese platter (amazing... More
