We booked a table here for New Years Eve. It was truly marvellous, the service was attentive and friendly. The food was impeccable, having taken into consideration my tricky dietary requirements. In fact there was so much fantastic quality food, that we couldn't finish. The restaurant is small, romantic and ideal for couples. I recommend booking as far in advance... More

We tried several restaurants whilst in Rome and this was by far the best. The restaurant is tucked away in one of the old streets of the city and quite small. The food was well presented and tasty, and the service was excellent and friendly. An ideal place for a romantic or quiet meal with friends.

The Library is conveniently located between di Fiori and Navona but is secluded on a Via off the beaten path. You will not find a lot of foot traffic on this Via and the number the outdoor seating is limited (as well as it is indoors too). But it provides the perfect romantic setting for a relaxing, quiet delicious dinner.... More

What an amazing place. I found this gem reading through trip advisor, I wanted something very romantic for my wife and I. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. It was incredibly romantic, with only candles for lighting in the restaurant. I recommend anyone wanting a romantic meal with their partner to go here. Well done!

We were looking for an intimate romantic spot for our last night in Rome and found this on TA. The restaurant is located just off of the street down a cobblestone alley that is quite charming. There is no doubt that the location is romantic and intimate. We loved the look and feel of the place. Service was very attentive,... More

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and the evening was fantastic from start to finish. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and the food was delicious. The white wine we had was beautiful and complimented the food we had perfectly. This is down a little side street, away from the madding crowds, and is the perfect type of restaurant... More

We went to The Library on our third day in Rome on May 8. We have only just returned home as we had an extensive stay in Italy. We had read this is one of the most romantic restaurants in Rome. We do agree that the decor of the restaurant is romantic with only candle lights and 6 tables with... More

We were slightly wary of booking here as some reviews had been somewhat negative. We needn't have worried as the whole evening was simply superb. It's a little difficult to find (ignore Google maps and ask a local) and very small - only 7 or 8 tables but as the name suggests the ambience and attention to detail inside is... More

I decided to make this the dinner location after proposing to my now fiancé in Rome this past fall. I chose the Library because of the great reviews and what looked like a small intimate setting. It was exactly what I had hoped for! It was a very small restaurant (around 8 tables if I remember correctly) with an amazing... More

This little restaurant is tucked away down a little side street away from the hustle and bustle of the piazza. Atmosphere is beautiful and the small candlelit tables give the ambiance and atmosphere for a very romantic dinner. Menus are handwritten and one of us had one with no prices on it! There is that fang shui feel about it.... More
