Giolitti is a brilliant example of knowing how to do something well and sticking with it. I visited Giolitti 15 years ago and it is the same now as it was then and probably the 15 years before that (and before that). Yes, it is a production line, yes, at times it can border on soup nazi style service, but... More

After having gelato once or twice each day for eight days in Italy, this was the best, hands down. Try the pear! Ordering was a bit crazy and it was crowded inside, but once we figured out the logistics we were actually served pretty quickly. This really was the best gelato we had, in terms of texture and flavor. Couldn't... More

Beautiful restaurant layout, with an enormously long line up of about 50 different gelato flavours, the biggest variety I have seen in any gelateria in Rome! Pay for you icecream at the cashier first, and then take several lonnnngggg minutes to decide what to choose... Lovely creamy, indulgent gelato, with friendly staff to brighten your day.

Bought two cones with ice-cream and another sweet. So much advertisement for this dolceria and as in most of these cases, not even half the advertised value. I've eaten much better ice-cream in Roma, in various other gelateries, and the sweet had nothing special, really. Not bad, but not something exceptional, plus that it's almost always overcrowded.

Giolitti is undoubtedly the best gelato place ever. Prices are cheap, gelato is amazing and you have a large variety to chose from. There's always a lineup but don't worry because it goes fast. I went in the middle of June and it was super crowded but maybe after 10 mins, i was out of there with the most delicious... More

Busy place. Best Gelato ever. We went there two days in a row. Very reasonable prices 2.50 euros for small two flavor choice. The children seemed to be able to find it by instinct! Not too far from the Spanish Steps.

So many flavors of Gelati and friendly staff. It wasn't crowded when we came. Prices are also reasonable compared to the extremely good quality of the gelati. 2,5 small 3,5(/3) medium Free whipped cream

I tend to avoid ice cream particularly for a dessert, (many years ago I was given a dish the size of a goldfish bowl full of every flavour on offer) so it was only because we were in Italy that I relented and had a tub of two flavours (pistachio and banana). Oh Boy! Simply delicious artisan gelato. What have... More
