Moved by the excellent reviews my family and I tried Le Fric, one good restaurant close to the Barberini Metro station. We choosed two pastas, one meal and one risotto. Everything tasted just fine, but not as an experience to remember forever in my life. What really makes a difference is the service, more than friendly.

My partner and I were in Rome for a week and had four meals at Le Fric. The food was so good we wanted to try everything on the menu. The service was excellent, which made for each evening being enjoyable, very special. Le Fric is a must when visiting Rome. It's a small restaurant on a side street. Where... More

Recommend by the staff at the Villa Spalletti Trivelli where we were staying. We went there during our 3rd or 4th night and by then one good restaurant was merging with another! The food was very good though and great, quirky service with the waiter being a rugby man who was also into football so we got on well!. My... More

I only have one word to say: FABULOUS!!! Everything we had was great - really great. Octopus salad, seafood pasta, lobster risotto... Especially risotto. Never had risotto that tasty before. My husband and I have been to numbers of restaurants in different countries but this is absolutely one of the best restaurants. Service was great, too. I heard about restaurants... More

I dined with my wife and daughter and the restaurant owner Simone Lo Bianco received us very well. Made us feel very much at home and the food was very authentic Italian cuisine. I had the seafood pasta and my wife had the sea bream and it was again excellent. Also you cannot miss out on the tiramisu.

We ate there with a group of friends on our last night in Rome. the waiter was very helpful, suggesting we substitute a better dish for one we ordered. for the 5 of us, we split 2 dishes for each course. All were wonderful, and I would highlight the parmagiana, the fettucine with truffles, the risotto, the tuna 'burger', and... More

We ate here soon after they opened in 2003 and enjoyed a great and memorable meal. This time was no different. Le Fric is expensive, but worth it if you appreciate good food. Like many places in Rome its clientele is tourists (mostly American) in the early evening and locals later.

A nice restaurant but there are better in Rome, don't go out of your way to visit this place but if you're near by and just want a feed then it will do. Service could be better, our places we're taken away as we put our forks down and the table next to us received their second plate long before... More

I have eaten at fine dining establishments and "hole in the wall" type places all over the world. Le Fric was such a wonderful experience. It was a recommendation from both The Eden and Intercontinental de la Ville and I was grateful for the find- every time I return to Rome, I make my way to Le Fric for dinner.... More

Nice pictures on the wall.) 6 tables, excellent service, good food, small menu, long waiting of dishes. Good place but the rate is too high for that. Dinner for two without alkohol - 70 euro. Fantastic disserts!
