Third time here. THE GOOD STUFF

Love this place. Great vibe and great food. It's worth the visit and the wait. I had the amatriciana , tripe, and fried artichokes, and the baby goat. They know how to serve old school roman fare .

Great old-fashioned service. Good, simple, local food. Lots of little stuff offered so don't order too much 😊

Round the corner from Barberini metro, this cosy restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It's home-style cooking, very Italian and value-for-money for the portions that you'll be getting. We had an amazing complimentary starter, croquettes of glutinous rice and mozzarella. Service was excellent as well, the waiters were friendly and cheeky, which made the experience all the more wonderful.

Me and my girlfriend stumbled upon this place while exploring the Trevi area at lunch time. You need to ring a bell for someone to open the door for you. We did ring a lot of times, the waiter did see us and didnt bother to open the door, in fact he actually pointed at us and laughed while talking... More

We toured a list of good recommended restaurants during our visit to Rome. Hostaria Romana came out the Best restaurant in The list. Very friendly staff, excellent presentation and genuine Roman food. Definitely a must-visit.

This was our first visit to this restaurant (based on Rick Steves and Trip Advisor). We were treated like regulars from the moment we walked in. Make a reservation and prepare to be wowed by delicious home cooked food, reasonable and good house wine and the most hospitable hosts.

This restaurant was recommend by the reception of the hotel. We made sure to book a reservation and we were glad we did (although walk in guests were accepted if they had room). The doors open at 715pm for dinner (not earlier) and a line up was already started. I believe the second seating is around 9pm.The restaurant looks very... More

I enjoyed Hysteria Romana, our table was ready when we arrived, the waiter was helpful and the food was good. I wasn't blown away by anything in particular, but it was a nice evening for friends and family to dine together in Rome.

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
