Good food at good price

I had dinner here with the family, they took bookings in two slots, 7:30 and 9:30, which confirms the place is very much sought after. I had the typical pasta e ceci, as my 9 years old daughter did. We both liked it very much. My 12 years old sun had pasta with ragu' and he found both the pasta... read more

We love this place - authentic, non-touristy, quaint with excellent service. The food is consistently delicious. Book ahead or you may be disappointed because there always seems to be a queue out the door!

Wow! We were in Italy for over a week and this was our best meal, hands down. All the positive reviews are spot-on. We arrived a few minutes before opening without a reservation, and lucky we did, as the place filled up within minutes. But we were seated immediately, and commenced a wonderful treat – a rare romantic meal with... More

had lunch there alone in jan. i ordered antipasti, cabonara pasta, folled by veal chop, certainly 2 pint of vino rosso. Anti is ok, cabonara is in authentic roma style, i love it. almost full but i ordered the veal chop. had regret of ordering it in advance as my stomach was too full. but my conclusion is not ordering... Best Antipasti Ever!! Great for easy dinner. Pasta is so so, so dont order or save place in your stomec for it. Be sure to get the "Antipastini della casa" and enjoy the great original atmosphere

Pasta alla carbonara are great, maybe the best in Roma. But everything is good, from primi to dolci. Know this place since 5 years, never disappointed.

We discovered this restaurant after asking the owner of a newspaper kiosk if he knew any good local restaurants where the locals eat. It was very clear when we went in that this was a place where the ‘Romans’ go for lunch (and not a tourist restaurant). It is not a big restaurant, so perhaps not suitable for large groups... More

This resto was highly recommended and the reviews were pretty positive. Good was good, tables a bit cramped, service good. But given the reviews we were expecting something great. Clearly reviews are perspective driven. Try it out but no need to go out of your way

No reservation? No problem if you arrive when they open. Wine selection emphasizes regional and national choices. Antipasti is fresh and reflects seasonal availability. One of the members of our party loved the tripe and complimented the chef profusely. Yes, we'd return, but there are many wonderful choices in Rome. Pasta with clams was nicely prepared. We skipped dessert because... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
