Even though it was a little on the expensive side the food was very tasty and the restaurant was buzzing. W e had there steak and it was delicious, Our waitor was very scattered that night that was the only fault. We had to remind him to bring the wine that we had previously ordered. That was really the only... more

A friendly local trattoria, only a few steps away from the crowds heading for the Trevi fountain. We enjoyed the food and the friendly atmosphete here so much, that we returned for an evening meal on 6 nights out of 7 in Rome. The fish was superb, and on our return visits we were treated to individually prepared deserts, served... more

By far the best place we ate in Rome. The staff has all been there forever. Excellent personal service. The owner himself cooked our dinner. We got the Sea Bass which was the special the night we were there. The owner tends to cook the things that are special and difficult himself. Our waitress was very personal and made sure... more

I went there for dinner with the hope to taste real Italian cuisine. I found myself in a tourist hang out with a rather rude service. The so called Italian cuisine was the same as you could find in almost any decent Italian restaurant in the world. The food was correct, the wine list adequate. Nothing special which could make... more

After long trudge through Vatican tour, we were in no mood for stuffy/overpriced. Roberto escorted us to wonderful outdoor table, suggesting that we start with a delicious ravioli primi. He recommeded wine that perfectly paired with our osso bucco and mixed seafood grill. Dessert, panna cotta and berries, presented. Roberto wrote my name on dish with pastry bag oozing of... more

This is NOT a gourmet restaurant. We went there for lunch on our first day in Rome because it was handy to our hotel and was open when many restaurants had closed. Food was just okay (think average Italian restaurant in the U.S.). We sat outside in the shade which was nice. I'd go if you were near the Trevi... more

We had high hopes for this restaurant based on recommendations from TripAdvisor, as well as other colleagues. The atmosphere was equivalent to a Pizza Hut in the US and the service was non-existent; our waiter had to be flagged on various occasions to assist. We ordered an appetizer and it was close to inedible, however we decided that we should... more

One of our best Italy experieinces at a restaurant. Sit outside and have Robert the manager serve you. He picked our menu and it was wonderful. Robert's sincere goal was to make sure you enjoyed his restaurant. Have your hotel make a reservation and you will probably get a prime outdoor location. Like all things in Rome it was expensive!. more
