The sicilian "rosticceria", an amazing type of take-away is wonderful, but is not so common as it should be. Try one of the many specialty available at Mondo Arancina. They are very good, from the Mozzarella in Carretta to the many type of Arancine. Really a good alternative to the more common - in Rome - supplì and roman rosticceria.... More

My Sicilian wife told me about the pane e panelle and (vegan option, shh) arancina from this place when we met and now it is all we ever talk about. I can't wait to get back to Rome for, duh, Rome, but mostly because I want this perfect rendition of a classic sicilian sandwich as soon as possible. I tell... More

Great place for a quick, cheap and tasty fast food lunch. We went back twice as we were staying nearby and tried three different arancine, and the pizzas. All great and good value. Two arancini, two pieces of pizza and two bottles of water for 10 euros. Brilliant if you're in the area and need a quick lunch mid-touristing. Lots... More

Fast service, honest prices. The food specialties are quite tasty. The chips, the "arancine" and some vegetables upon the pizza are unavoidably a bit oily. The place is always crowded, that a good sign.

My daughter found this place in her guide book. An absolute fantastic place. Rice balls with ham and mozerella in the centre. I could have filled my suitcase with them!

Mondo Arancina prepares traditional Sicilian food like arancinas (rice-balls), pastry (try "Iris"), pizza etc. Everything is freshly prepared, and tastes deliciously. Don't hesitate to take some different sorts of arancinas, but be aware that the servings are quite big, and one (at least in my case) is enough for a person. The prices are not high at all (some 2,50... More

We've visited this place with very low expectations as it looked more like a bakery but we wanted some quick food to take away. We've been surprised by the tasty arancine and pizze they prepare. The personnel also is very friendly.

Every time I go to Rome I make sure I go there and I have never been desapointed. The food is fresh as there is a constant flow of customers. My last time I went there I had eggplant pizza and I must say that it was out of this world!
