The best restaurant we ate at in terms of value for money and very good food. Clearly very popular with tourists and locals alike which is a good sign. The burrata and pasta were delicious and lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Rome. Would recommend booking ahead as not a big place but it does... More

Go ahead and book at this restaurant for a real Italian experience (and you do need to book ahead as the restaurant is small and popular). We had a group of 7, and started by sharing some antipasti and three pastas. Everything was high quality and tasty. But the real treat was the "special" fish dishes that hey had this... More

Oddly enough, in this celebrated pasta spot, they use store-bought dried pasta...that being said, this was a fun evening in a packed, frenetic space. The fish entree was only so-so, but the pasta with shaved truffles was terrific; and dessert was a real show-stopper. I was surprised to read the various reviews detailing bad service; our waiter could not have... More

We have eaten here many times, and I understand that there has been a change of chef. This is reflected in the reduction of the quality of the food. Our experience on Saturday night was also marred by slow service - almost an hour went by before we got our first course. The restaurant is clearly successful - but there... More

I ate there on Sunday night with a friend and my niece who is studying this semester in Rome. Food was phenomenal (ravioli with shaved truffles and fish with tomato sauce, olives and capers). The waiters charming and the feel of the restaurant warm and inviting - even for strangers. I could have eaten every meal there!

I was taken to le mani in pasta on a Sunday evening by a colleague who lives in Italy. The food was incredible. To start we had cheese Ravioli with truffles and a penne with a red sauce with bacon. Both were outstanding. I had tuna crusted with pistachios that was possibly the best tuna I have ever had. The... More

I remembered this place from a previous visit to Rome and thank goodness I phoned a week before and booked a table (they were turning people away on this Friday night). It is small and always busy, with a great atmosphere. The staff are good and some are passionate about the food they produce. You are welcomed with a glass... More

We enjoyed our first meal here so much that we went back a second time. But you have to book several days ahead (unless you want to sit in the smoking room!). Fresh fish dishes on the board every day, and an a la carte menu if you don't fancy the daily specials. Wonderful waiter, Fausto looked after us splendidly,... More

This place is an ideal restaurant to visit in Rome. The atmosphere is amazing, the service enthusiastic, and there is a wide array of things to choose from. One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in Italy.
