After a recommendation we tried this and it was only ok, nothing to write home about after been in an excellent ice cream parlour yesterday (see my review). Here the ice cream was under cover and not visible to the customer. Also there was no cream offered as a topping. The guy serving was not very helpful when we were... More

This is the best gelato I have ever put in my mouth. Simply the best! Smooth creamy and the flavours are very intense and do not taste artificial at all. The best pistachio gelato I have ever had . Can't wait to go back to Rome for this .

Well, when you put labels on places like “it was featured in Eat-Love-Pray” and it is one of the best gelato’s in Rome, how could one not be tempted to stop by? We came straight after lunch and a previous stop to another gelato place, on a Sunday afternoon, and there was no one around. Sampled the cinnamon-ginger gelato (because... More

This was by far the best gelato we had during our trip through Italy. It was so fresh and delicious! Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely large portions of Ice cream with a good selection to choose from, although nothing too exotic. Friendly service and reasonable prices for central Rome.

We ate a lot of gelato during our two weeks in Italy and this was the nicest we had in Rome. It was more expensive than some of the others we had but considering it was so close to the Pantheon, what do you expect?

Staying at the next door hotel, we saw people waiting in line. For ?3.50 you can receive a "baby" cup (their words) with about 3 1/2 tea spoons of two flavors. Pistachio was fresh and good, cacao rum was average. Service was below average. I've had better and definitely cheaper. I recommend you try somewhere else.

I visited this place twice during my stay in Rome. The varlhona gelato was a favourite of mine and my 2 children. We also tried the chocolate chip flavour which was good as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in search of the perfect gelato.

Fewer exotic/artisan flavors than the rave reviews would suggest, and the consistency in one of the batches I tasted was not perfect (a tiny bit of ice/water). Really enjoyed the honey flavor; ginger and cinnamon was not as good as I expected. Still, one of the best quality gelato places in the old city, and the Trevi location is perfectly... More
