Amazing gelato

Definitely worth a visit, best gelato. It's tucked away down a side street near the Trevi Fountain but worth hunting down!

THE BEST GELATO EVER! Flavours are true, and each mouthful is fresh! The shop is hard to find as it's in a small alley, but just look around for the long queues and you won't miss it. Don't just buy one scoop-- always go with two. Or three. Or more. SO GOOD!

With so many nice places to eat in Rome, it is quite hard to say which one has the best gelato but this called our attention. The place is small but offers awesome ice-creams, still it is not full as most of the places. Certainly a must try

Fantastic Italian ice cream parlour. Some innovative flavours are offered but all are delicious - the meringue is a particular favourite.

Skip the other touristy gelato places and head here. This place is right around the corner from the Trevi Fountain but tucked out of the way enough that you have to seek it out. (There's a reason they have all the newspaper accolades and awards posted.) It's good and not artificially flavored like so many others. Get the pastachio --... More

This place serves very good icecream. They have a wide variety of tastes including a lot of unusual ones I have never seen or tasted before. I had the Valhorna chocolate which certainly was not the most unusual one they had. I just had to have it. And it tasted great. They are very explicit about the ingredients they use.... More

I tried Gelato in Florence, Pienza, Rome and Amalfi and the Honey Cream flavour at San Crispino beat all the others hand down!

After sampling gelato from other gelaterias - and, believe me, we sampled a lot of gelato - we unanimously agreed that this was the best. A variety of flavours were available, the ones I tried were absolutely delicious, and all were kept clean in lidded metal containers. My favourite was the honey, their signature flavour...just amazing, honestly a must-try. My... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
