Excellent!

Tripadvisor does well again! We were walking around tonight near the Vatican and needed somewhere for dinner. The restaurant is bright and clean, and the hosts were extremely friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, most from 10-20€. I had the fish of the day"mojito" style, and it... read more

We were to go to the tour at Castel Sant' Angelo, and were going to a different restaurant when we found Zagara. It looked so inviting and elegant, we decided to go there. The wait staff, which is run by a family, was so nice and welcoming. We chose a 3 course meal with wine and it was very reasonable,... More

This is a new restaurant run by a really friendly and attentive family. They care about their food, and the place is modern and spotless. Portions are generous, as are the owners. Very aware and capable of providing gluten free and lactose free quality dinners.

A wonderful casual dinner place to visit in town, delicious appetizer and the lobster pasta is one of my favor, too full for desert this time, save it until next time then.

We visited late on a Monday evening and the restaurant wasn't very busy at all (due to the time we visited) but on arrival the owner insisted he would stay open for us. Service was amazing and the owner was great at recommending foods and wine. Prices were also very good for such good quality food, for a 3 course... More

This restaurant is amazing! The service staff and owner are so kind and polite and catered to our very large group of 25. Most of the staff spoke acceptable English which was a huge help. The sea bass dish is a must-have.

We were told that this restaurant has really good lobster specials and it really didn't turn us down. We also had a very good starter -seafood baked-potato mash which was baked in a shell, very cute. It's clean and air conditioned and has free wifi! Give it a try and you'll love it!

Incredibly good food and very personable service! Best and freshest bruchetta I have ever eaten. Wonderful pork saltimboca (sp?) and potato crusted fish was delicious! They had 2 fixed price menus, one seafood and one of land meats. Too many great desserts to pick just one!

We stumbled upon this place and we are so happy that we did. Very friendly staff and the boss was top notch. Very clean and nice environment. Kid friendly as well. But the best thing was the delicious food! Certainly helped that the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend this place.
