Terrible service and food "just ok"

I found the service here terrible and on the bill they charge 10% service fee. I felt the food was average and that I could do better at home. Price wasn't the cheapest that I have seen. All honesty, we wouldn't go back there.

Food was ok but staff was rude. The thing that really pissed me off was that they charged us 1.50euro per person for bread! I have no problem paying for water or the service charge which is standard in many restaurants in Rome but no one charges for the complimentary basket of bread. We didn´t even order it, our waitress... More

The service was horrible. Waited forever to only get the menue. Then another long time for the drinks and so on. Some things never came (like the wifi pw). Maybe they didnt want us to look up the bad recensions here ? ;). The pasta was ok. But the bruscetta and the caprese were simply just bad. Every child can... More

This was a great restaurant. I don't understand all the negative reviews. We at there about 5 times in a week. The staff was amazing and friendly and always suggested great food. The spaghetti with cheese and bacon was fabulous. They did run out of some food but we chalked that up to fresh food being cooked daily. Christina was... More

Went here twice last time we were in Rome and were telling our children what a great place it was. Was fairly busy when we got in. Ordered drinks fine. Then th trouble started. Spaghetti sponsors the most straightforward pasta to make...they had run out. Arrabiata pasta the next easiest pasta......ran out. Three is us had the strangest carbonara we... More

this place was kind of odd they had Bavarian dishes as well as Italian. Nice little outdoor eating space if you want it. Or indoors as well. Food was good but not great. They told us they only had seafood dishes on Monday so we went back on Monday and no seafood available All places charge for bottled water with... More

Went there our first night in Rome ever, food was fantastic, homemade pasta to die for. Service terrific, could not fault it and incredibly reasonable. Even went back for a second night and was as good as before.

not a lot of tourists, and you get a decent meal. Try the Peper Spaghetti (A roman traditional dish). They make it really good!

Excellent food and good value. No hard sell, just good quality food in a traditional family friendly environment. Best meal we had in Italy.

The restaurant was just next door and we were weary after travelling all day. Did not expect much thinking it would be one of those restaurants that do the bare minimum for tourists who will likely just dine there once etc. Service was friendly, prompt and informative. The food was actually very, very good. Wine was reasonable. Overall the experience... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
