We went here on the recommendation of our host at our bed and breakfast. We ordered the antipasti platter for two, and absolutely loved it! It comes with even more than is listed on the menu (fried olive, arancini, prosciutto plate, huge plate of boconcini cheese, fried zucchini flowers stuffed with fish, bruschetta, focacia topped with mortadella). This could be... More

Waitress very welcoming at the start of the meal. However, we had an issue with one of our meal choices, and the waitress was less than receptive. Food average, staff less than average. Won't be making a return visit.

If you like stale bread and hair in your spaghetti this is your place. So gross. And almost as bad, when we walked in to get a table the owner literally grabbed me by the shoulders and moved me over so she could see her reservation book. How about a excuse me? I know Italians are not the most polite... More

We got hungry and ended up here. We felt bit cold because it had been raining so we wanted to sit inside. We ordered starters, wine and dinner. Starters were good, dinner was good and so was Wine (Vino de casa). Service was good and everyone seemed to enjoy their stay at this restaurant. When we got seated there were... More

The food is really good, especially the starters... But is a fraud!! They charge me for a bottle of wine that I never bought. Be careful!!!

We selected this restaurant because it was recommended by the Michelin guide, and we were not disappointed; the restaurant is located on a nice place (san Cosimato); it was raining and we had lunch on the covered terrasse; food was very good (lasagna and spaghetti ciociarra); service was adequate and prices were reasonnable. Do not miss it!

We came here because the place we wanted to go round the corner was closed, but a kind Italian man recommended that we go here. All tables are seated outside and very cramped. Be prepared to be up close and personal with the person next to you. we waited in front of the line to be seated and whilst waiting... More

We stayed near P. San Cosimato for two months recently and wound up at Ai Spaghettari several times - the waitress would greet us with "ciao" as we walked by. Enjoyed the family feeling, even with large crowds. Had their specials several times, tried the pizza, got the "big" appetizer plate (just about a whole meal for two with that),... More

Last time was there during Christmas 2013, went to eat over there 3-4 times with my two daughters + granddaughter 2 and half month old. Trastevere is for my opinion one of the very best area in Rome, Food was every time excellent and always got help to find place for baby carriage, we got fantastic hospitality and never got... More
