Good restaurant but...

It's hard to rate 5/5 this restaurant. I have to say that despite the food was really good as well as the service too, ordering was kind of complicated and annoying. The waiter that took our order was extremely pushy regarding expensive seafood options and wine. Actually the waiter noted our faces... read more

We had a wonderful dining experience at this nicely appointed restaurant on a quiet side street. The staff was welcoming, the dishes looked very appealing and all were delicious. The wine suggested to us went perfectly with our meal. Complimentary dessert and home-made Orangecello (?) from the owner ensured it was a fun and memorable evening.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Sat initially outside but then went inside as was too hot. Was nervous after stumbling in and reading the somewhat negative mixed reviews. We ordered Tagliolini Gameberri Rossi, Escalopine Limone, Ravioli Ricotta with Spinach. The first two dishes were very good and of a high quality. The Ravioli was average but unlikely the best... We ate at this restaurant last week and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was very pushy and made us both uncomfortable and extremely annoyed to the point we were going to get up and leave (we should have). Ordering the wine was a big problem. I was shown the wine list and asked the waiter if... More

I'm a frequent customer of this restaurant, visiting every time I stay in Rome. the choice and the quality of food is second to none and the variety of wines is truly astonishing. If you visit this place, make sure you don't go for a meat based dish or for a typical Roman pasta dish! this is not the place... More

If they can get away with not showing you a menu they won't! Especially if they know you came from the St Regis. Way overpriced with mediocre service and fairly good food. Save yourself €350 and go somewhere else.

The most fresh seafood restaurant in town. Mostly tourists but excellent quality and service. Not cheap but quality come with a price. Don't go there if you are on a budget

Recommended by hotel but overpriced for what you get. Pushy waiter keen to sell the specials and highest priced wine in the menu. Your hotel wil probably recommend but I'd give it a kiss.

We were disappointed by this recommendation by our hotel concierge. Wine very expensive and charged for bread. We ate the first basket and then they brought out a second that we didn't eat but we're still charged for. This restaurant definately gets its custome from hotel recommendations buy although the food was nice there Ard much more enjoyable experiences to... More

At the suggestion of our concierge at the Boscolo Hotel, we made a reservation at this restaurant. The moment we walked in the door, the experience started. Very friendly staff. The waiter 'suggested' our entire meal and it was fantastic. Every bite was a true gourmet experience. The recommended wine selection was excellent. This was our 'big' night out, and... More
