We came across this restaurant on our way to Piazza Navona. It looked very pretty, traditionally Italian with red checked tablecloths and a big basket of fresh produce on display and a nice outside seating area. The waiter enticing people to sit down was very friendly and it was actually fun to watch him work his charm on other passers-by!... More

We picked this place because they have a nice terrace right by the Piazza Navona, and they had a TV installed for the World Cup final on July 13. We did not expect great food, and it wasn't. Quite expensive too. We had the seafood risotto (16 euro), which was essentially not even a risotto but just rice with some... More

As we were walking down an alley that led to the Piazza Navona, we walked by this terrific. restaurant. We were attracted by a huge basket of lovely produce on display--tomatoes, peppers, etc. As we were perusing the menu, an extremely personable waiter accosted us with the promise of great food. We promised to return later, and we came back... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant while out and about. It is down a little alley just off the Piazza Navona, so no great views but it does have great food and atmosphere so we decided to eat there. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night. My husband ordered a Sambuca at the end of the meal.... More

Nice place to drink a cup of tea or coffee. Prices are a little bit better then on Piazza Navona restaurants, but location is not so good.

Being the first time in Rome we walked by "la piccola cuccagna" after visiting the piazza navona. The waiter invited us with (soon to be false) promises like "...best food in italy..." and "...italian chef with best fresh food...". We decided to give it a try but discovered that the chef is not even able to get the pasta done.... More

The two of us had a great meal. Shared a starter, and then went for two pasta dishes. The waiter guided our selection, and we were very happy with some unusual pastas. Had artichokes and puntarelle (a "salad" served only in the spring) . The wine was good, and we were happy. The total was 81 with the 22 E... More

Really good food; the best service and atmosphere (created by the staff); great prices. Next time I'm in Rome I will seek this place out, and I advise you to do the same.

I was surprised when I read negative comments in trip advisor, before entering the restaurant. The food was very good, fresh pasta (my be that's why took some time), polite staff. Really good choice in a very touristic area. Strongly suggested...
