Finally after many years of searching I found the "off the beaten track local cheap food" that I heard so much about! Fantastico and authentic, how you would expect Italian food should be like, not for tourists! Bravo Dodo!

This place along a nice street with alfresco option. Good environment and good service, but unfortunately I was disappointed because the quality of food, pizza and pasta was not up to scratch.

I had not had the opportunity to eat authentic Italian Lasagna yet during my stay in Roma. You could so easily walk past this gem given its location. The waitrons worked in sync with each other. Friendly service and delicious food. I was not disappointed at all with the lasagna. The restaurant had the ebb and flow of a busy restaurant... More

Walking back from the coliseum towards Trevi we stumbled across this place just as we were getting hungry. We stopped to share a bruschetta, Parma ham & mozarella and a pizza, washed down with some prosecco and found the food all delicious, accompanied with quick and friendly service, and extremely good value - definitely recommend!

We were walking past after visiting the Coliseum. Menu caught our eye and we liked the look of the restaurant. Decided we would have dinner the next day but we as seniors prefer to eat somewhat earlier. To our dismay we found they did not open until 8:30. We decided to eat elsewhere but return the next day to eat... More

We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it turned out to be the best meal out of 3 days worth of lunches and dinners. All the guide books praise Roman cuisine, but it's almost impossible to find a genuine place while wandering from one tourist trap to another. However, this was our reward after 3 disappointing days of eating... More

After a not-so-inspiring dinner experience the night before (separate review), we found this place a short distance from our hotel and, while lower TA ranked than the other one, thought we'd take a chance. And we're glad we did. There are about six or seven outside tables for two, covered by generous umbrellas and "fenced" by planters with trees. The... More

We got here pretty much by accident, but really loved the place since the beginning. Fast, flawless service, english speaking waiters, great dinner, and that house wine! Cheap, soft, and delicate. Also, for Roman sense of culture and location, beatiful view of the Colloseum (at the end of the street), which adds to the overall atmosphere, especially at night. Highly... More

Absolutely in love with this place. Was 3 times here and every time all was perfect. I ate few different typical Italian dishes and it was very tasty! Fresh gnocchi with ruccola and cheese was amazing!
