We ate here twice having the 10 euro 2 course and 13 euro 3 course with drink. The pizza for the 2 course and pudding with the 3 course were excellent. We had the red wine which came with the meal and this was around 250ml each. We also found a very reasonably priced 200ml bottle of Prosecco for 3... More

We ate at Dodo because it was almost immediately beneath our hotel and almost all of the reviews gave them high marks. We were both disapointed. I will start with the best part of the evening. The service was great. The staff was always available and our every request was cheerfully fulfilled. The best part of the meal was the... More

Tried the oxtail soup, sauteed mussels and clams, seafood pasta, and a humble tomato penne pasta. Love them all. It is affordable and serves extremely delicious local fare. located near the colosseum - so do not give it a miss, at all!

We ate here three times during our week in Rome. We found it by chance as it was close to where we were staying, and it is just a short walk from The Forum. We had 2 fixed-price lunches there, and one evening meal. The fixed price deal seems to be available from lunch until quite late, and there are... More

We were so lucky that this place was literally on the door step of our apartment. We did lunch and dinner here on separate occasions. It's by far the best lasagne I've ever tasted and the biggest most succulent steak you've ever seen! Friendly staff, the freshest food, a lovely atmosphere. Just perfect!

Delicious pizza and pasta. Returned for a second meal during trip to Rome despite the many options available, it was that good.

First brunch in Rome, pizza at a roadside trattoria, lovely. What a difference some shrubs planted around the pavement tables make.

On a side street just off Via Nazionale, Dodo is well worth a visit for excellent food and great service. When we visited, all the tables outside were occupied - a sign of this place's popularity! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and the service was very prompt too. We both had pasta dishes and both the pasta and... More

I found myself having to eat alone on a warm weekday evening and exploring the neighborhood, I came across this place at the top of the Via dei Serpenti. I was lucky enough to get one of the outdoor tables. The food was traditional Roman, not gourmet but very good. I ordered a la carte: antipasto Roman style (a very... More
