Great Pasta

This restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel. We enjoyed it so much we went back for a second night. I had the ravioli both nights; once with spinach and the other with squash. The wait service was not always spot-on but the food was too good to let that bother us.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and ate there twice. Food was wonderful and the prosecco was 9 euros for a litre and was amazing. Disappointed we couldn't sit outside and that's why they didn't get 5 stars, the smokers were awful out there and it was overpowering under the awning they have up... but inside was cool... More

Taverna Rossini is an excellent restaurant! This was the best meal I had in Rome. The pasta and pizza were excellent. The spaghetti carbonara was the best I ever had. The fruit cocktail was so fresh and I swear I never tasted such great fruit. When I go back to Rome, I will most definitely come back to this restaurant.... More

This place has good service, a large menu and is in a nice area. Prices vary for food some things cheaper than elsewhere , some more expensive. We ate here a few times. It is quite close to the Villa Borghese so it was handy for us after a long day of walking and just being too tired to go... More

Just had a 3 course late lunch. Overall the food was ok the highlight being semi freddo dessert. Waiting times were long. Little bit pricey place but if you just want a regular meal and dont have too high expectations Taverna Rossini is a good place to visit. Safe and sound.

We've come back to a nearby Hilton Garden Inn and delight in the Taverna Rossini. It offers good food at a fair price. Wine selection is excellent and the pasta dishes are well organized and well prepared. Outside seating was enjoyable and we didn't have any smokers near by. Wait staff seemed indifferent so we struggled to have the waiter... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we ate there twice. The food was good and they were open when we wanted to eat. I'd recommend it to anyone staying near it.

Unfriendly service and very bad food its shame on Italy kitchen they don't know how to make good past !! I order it twice and it was awful the tomato sauce was not fresh Salad was mediocre, olive oil bitter. Too pricey, it is not worth it. All in all we are not going to visit this place again.

Unfriendly service and terrible food. Crusty potatoes tasted like a week old potato chips - not at all crusty. Choice of herbs and seasoning for the swordfish not my taste... Gnocchi tasted like straight from the can. Salad was mediocre, olive oil bitter. Bad Red wine. Too pricey, it is not worth it. All in all we are not going... More

Quality and food were in complete balance. Service could have been much better. Not that observative and great. A bit indifferent.

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
