Our first night in Rome we came across Moma and what an introduction to Modern Rome, we were delighted by the atmosphere which managed to make us feel both special but also casual diners. We tasted foods we wouldn't have otherwise tried and had a great meal at a reasonable price.

We found Moma across from the American Embassy. Small and modern in decor. We started with a cocktail in the bar downstairs. To our delight they also served some snacks consisting of pickled capers, bite sizes of pizza margarita and another bread stuffed with potato and sausage. Delicious. They call themselves an American Restaurant but Veal Tongue and Rooster aren't... More

This restaurant provided by far the best meal of our trip and thanks to Daphne Inn for providing this recommendation. It is a lovely place near Rome center, with a modern feel. The cuisine is creative and unique, and utterly delicious. We had this interesting dish of vegetables that was presented on our plates like a real garden - with... More

My husband and I were walking near our hotel on the Via Veneto when we came upon a lovely restaurant only a few blocks away. On our last night in Rome, we decided to eat at Moma and were so glad we did! It was amazing! The restaurant was small, but intimate. It was somewhat modern and we were seated... More

Had perhaps very high expectations of this restaurant based on both TA reviews and Michelin star. Service was absolutely impeccable and the atmosphere lovely. Very modern, clean lines inside for a well appointed dining room. We loved the floor to ceiling glass, with a great street view- including the American embassy. However, the cuisine was just average. The gorgeous presentation... More

A Michelin star ? I don't think so. Fried foie gras, had a nice taste to it , pigeon appetizer done very well. Pasta courses were nicely done. Service ok, however you should not have to pour a seventy five dollar bottle of wine yourself.

This was so good we paid around 130 Euros for two and went back again 4 days later for more. Outstanding flavours and imaginative dishes (very good: squid, cuttlefish, octopus) created with the flair and style you would associate with Michelin Star level cooking. Friendly staff, nice upstairs setting (not particularly atmospheric), and popular with locals and tourists. Go soon.

I found this restaurant on trip advisor and had high expectations. I was not disappointed. This restaurant would really deserve a Michelin star for the quality and creativity (!) of the food. On top of that the prices are very moderate. We had an aperitive and the tasting menu and paid 280 EUR for 4 people. In Paris or Brussels,... More

We dined here may 19th. I had lobster and husband had filet. Everything was very good and I would recommend this restaurant during your stay in Rome. $114.00 euros includes appetizer and bottle of wine and desert.
