Went with my wife for my birthday. Hesitated at first because the place looked a little intimidating - it is a classy place - but as soon as the waiter spoke to us we were put at ease. Service: 5 stars. Presentation: 5 stars. Flavour: 3 stars. My wife and I dined here in Feb 2015, choosing the tasting (degustation) menu. The staff seemed genuinely friendly, rather than the forced smiles that seem too common in Rome. The presentation of every dish was a work of art, a feast for the eyes. But 3 of the 5 courses... Prebooked online and my initial reaction entering was, this is not what I was expecting. Do not be put off, the restaurant is on the 1st floor, well organised, crisp white linen and friendly staff, who are knowledgeable and professional. the ingredients are fresh, perfectly cooked, good wine list. Lots of little extra tasters between courses to try. Service was... More

We did ala carte versus the tasting menu as 4 full courses. is too much. Great food but better wine pairing and even better service. Our best dining experience over 4 nights in Rome.

This little gem deserves the accolades . In particular the personalized service was extremely helpful and enhanced the overall experience. Each meal is started with appetizer and a choice of fresh breads . We enjoyed duck pate, followed by mains, pasta's and finished off with cheese cake . This is a unique culinary experience and one should look forward to... More

Best restaurant in Rome. Amazing food, service, and prices. I ate here solo too while on business (usually you get poor service in this situation) but everything was perfect. I had wine, dinner, dessert all for under 30 Euro. And they bring wonderful breads and snacks out during the meal too. Amazing quality.

Got there by coincidence, after searching the area for a decent place without succes. We went for the taster menu, which was indeed very tasty, never had pork in this supprising way. Friendly reception and good advise from interested staff, well advised on the excellent cabernet. Despite of the moderate portions, with this number of courses it was a complete... More

We were lucky enough to secure a table for New Years Eve, after eating in this amazing restaurant the previous day. How lucky we were, each course was simply exquisite, from the tasting appetisers, through a wonderful taste treat of oysters, scampi with foie gras, wild Canadian salmon, pork neck with bifftecci, tortellini with truffle ( simply fantastic!); traditional New... A little expensive comparing with the other retaurants in Rome, they limit the menu for 14 people, service is good, ambiance is good, a good selection of wines

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
