Great Atmosphere

Great pasta and romantic setting. Staff was very professional and the bread was delicious. Beautiful outdoor seating and luxurious indoor seating. Nice decor...just good all around. I enjoyed it and will definitely return....A little too pricey though.

We were charged 12 euros for bread we didn't order and 9 euros service fee. Had the service been amazing we wouldn't have minded but the wait staff were pretty surly. We felt like an inconvenience to them, even though it was a fairly quiet time of day. The food was lovely but we left with a bitter feeling of... More

10 euro just to eat there, 10 euro for the bread. Beer was not good, complained but didn't get a new one. Food was "ok" and the staff where terrible. We where 5 persons eating here, got one menu to share. Ask for more, got 3 more after 10 minutes. Menu number 5 we got after 15 minutes. Took 45-50... More

This wasn't a busy restuarant - ombience was terrible - staff were surly and we were definately an inconvenience. Food was average. Waiter forgot drinks....served up fries instead of potatoes and we were charged 12 euros for bread !......can't really say anything nice about this experience.

We lucked out with this very pleasant restaurant as we were out about 9pm at night. While all of the places we had been recommended were full, we found this gem hidden in an alley that sat us right away. We had the prix fixe meal which was great - pasta and scampi, octopus salad, seared tuna with sautéed spinach.... More

Based on TA reviews was eager to visit. The food lived up to the billing with many great traditional and unique dishes to choose from. The service was very professional. Really only drawback was that on a Monday night there was only three tables and it seemed a little lacking in atmosphere.

Our friend who had lived in Rome for 6 months picked out great places to eat, but told us to pick out a restaurant one night. My wife noticed this restaurant on our way to Trevi Fountain. It was the most delicious meal we had in Rome. The service was excellent. They recommended a great wine and a great beer.... More

Good value for money, all handmade and really high quality italian food! Would recommend anyone to see this place while in Rome!

We have had a week in Rome eating out every meal. We stumbled across this gem but what a pleasant surprise. The food and service was excellent. So nice to have food such as this all made on the premises rather than fairly ordinary food from the million other tourist traps with people hassling you on the street. Very highly... More

Droped in to this very nice restaurant by coincidente and was happy to do so. We had a 4 course menu, which was very tasty and to the right price. A good wine was suggested. The service was excellent and the atmosphere nice. The portions where maybe to big, but can you really complain on that ?

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
