Gaeta pizza, a speciality.

This small restaurant is full of charms. The decoration is in accordance with seafood. In November, it was only half full, mostly locals, and us. We could not get in before as it was often full. We were a bit desperate because many (nearly all) restaurants were closed at lunch time, which was odd on a Saturday. I'm vegetarian and as you can imagine, lots of coastal places specialize in fish! I'd already heard of Nari but we were too hungry to go looking for it by then - however, to our luck we stumbled upon... More

Had read good things about this place and have to admit the location, interior is very charming as in general was the service. We were served by a charming waitress and ordered house wine which was very good. Our antipasti also were good without being anything exceptional. Was however disappointed with the secondo fritto misto,I had eaten much better in Gaeta. One very good consolation... You want to taste fresh local seafood - look no further! A great place with lovely hosts will serve you awesome seafood soup and seafood risotto! Other dishes are awesome as well since they are prepared from fresh catch. Try deserts in they fit after a seafood feast! :)

Really I have never had such a bad experience at an italian restaurant. This place is small, there are not that many tables and there were four waiters. They were all running around looking lost! We booked for 10pm, it was full, the restaurant came recommended although we still don't know why. They ignored us standing there for a good... More

Fantastic tiella with sea bass fish and olives and tomatoes. Pasta perfectly cooked and very tasty. For 2 tiellas, one pasta and one "Polpette di alici" (dish of thehouse), one bottle of wine, water and coffee we paid only 49€. We will be back !!!!

My wife and I came in with a friend around 10 p.m., and the place was buzzing. Despite clearly being overworked, our waitress was really nice and attentive. I had a seafood tiella, which was good, followed by a seafood risotto, which turned out to be rise with a tomato sauce and seafood. It tasted good, but I had looked... More
