Nice surprise!

Lunch was gorgeous, the waiting was interesting with only one guy knowing what was going on and the rest avoiding the eye. The food was delicious and not crazy big, too many pasta dishes, so far! Cotelette milanaise was lush and the scalloppe in white wine superb - DO do the gnocchi .... YUM! Main... read more

The food was the best we had during our trip to Italy and the service was so kind! The inside garden was nice and quiet place to sit. Prices were reasonable and the house offered us shots of home made limoncello before we left.

I came across this place as it was close to the Hotel Forum. When I ate dinner the first time, the owner asked my name; he knew me by name when I returned 2 days later. FOOD: The pasta dishes were excellent, the house wine on point, the desserts excellent. SERVICE: the owner wears many hats - greeting, chatting with... More

Had a bit of a steer as my daughter visited the ruins in the winter when they are very quiet and recognised it. Otherwise I would not have chosen a place in such a tourist area. Amazing. You just don't feel it. Fabulous food, good prices and really charming staff. Lots of chat between the various tables when we were... More

This was a return to Pompei after a two year gap and as I had enjoyed my meals at Add'u Mimi so much last time I had to revisit. I was not disappointed. My wife and I ate here on the two successive evenings we were in Pompei. Food was excellent. Roberto (owner), his brother and their staff were friendly... More

My all time favorite dining experience if our 3 week European trip. Family-owned and run with a passion. The staff, especially our waiter, Roberto, is gracious, accommodating and so friendly. The food is fresh and authentic without a hefty price tag. They have $5 bottles of wine made locally that is delicious. They also serve delicious digestives (limoncella) after the... More

Great family owned restaurant a short walk from the Pompeii gate. Excellent meal - just what you would expect in this kind of small local restaurant. We spent the day with a guide in the excavations then had a mid afternoon lunch at Add'u. The owner helped us with directions to the nearby train station about two blocks away. With... More

We were at this Restaurant mid of July 2015. We enjoyed sitting in the small garden in the back eating pasta and insalata Caprese. We had a nice desert called rum baba. The staff was very nice and even gave us a free degestive afterwards.

While the archeological sights at Pompeii were remarkable, our trip would not have been complete without spending the night in Pompei and thoroughly enjoying dinner at Add'u Mimi. The congenial family atmosphere and delicious food made this well worth staying the night in Pompeii.
