Clearly a trap just get a panino and won't get disappointed

Places in the central square of the town are always more expensive and worse (quality wise ) than any place not in the centre. We had a panino for 4 euros and it was good , big and with fresh ingredients. I would never ever ask for pasta or pizza in a place like that .

We had some pizza and non alcoholic beverages for approx. 12 EUR/person. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. The owner runs the nearby souvenir shop as well, where you may get some discount. The parking also belongs to the business.

Worst food ever. Overlooked pasta. Rancid machine oil soup. Thick fat pizzas. Everything covered in gross tomato sauce. They still forced us to pay whole bill despite complaints. On the plus side, good parking for Pompeii.

This place seems to be popular with locals for Sunday lunch. The staff are very friendly but service is very slow. The food's good enough but there's better elsewhere in Pompeii.

If you're visiting the Pompeii ruins, parking can be a problem. However, you can park (if space is available) for E5 for a full day in front of the il Posticino Ristorante Pizzeria which is right in front of the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance to the ruins. However, if you then have a meal at the restaurant, the car parking is... More

We wondered into this cafe, duped by its pleasant looking sign, we ignored it was by a coach stop. The place just feels dirty. The chairs, the table, the bathroom, everything has a layer of filth! However, we only popped in to get a light snack and had already ordered our drinks, so we remained, noticing more griminess as we... More

Arrived to go to Pompeii. As we aproached a side entrance we were waved down by a local restauranteur who for €5 offered us a parking place for the whole day opposite an entrance to the Pompeii site. We had a coffee at his bar and came back and had a great pizza after our visit. He was very welcoming... More

I would not recommend this place even if they have a good location and good prices. We got microwaved reheated pasta and that is unacceptable, especially in Italy!

We tried many restaurants during our stay in Pompeii and this was by far the best. They are open from noon until 7pm so if you want dinner, you must go early. The food is fresh and cooked when ordered. The waiters are friendly and accomodated all of our requests with a smile. The owner is friendly and does try... More

We arrived in Pompeii and were looking for lunch as we were very hungry. We happened to walk past this restaurant in the main square opposite the entrance to the Pompeii ruins. The man who runs the restaurant was outside and was doing his sell to get us to eat here. We were hungry so just settled for the resturant.... More
