Ask any local in Pompei where to get the best pizza and you will get the same answer: Pizzeria Margharita. This cosy pizzeria sits next to the train station (there are tables outside in the summer) and serves up not only the best pizza in town, but a true feast for a stupidly low price. You can eat and drink... More

We ate here on a recommendation from the owner at the Hotel Diana and we were pleasantly rewarded. The pizzeria uses the old-fashioned brick oven method which delivers impeccable results. Beautiful thin crust perfectly baked, excellent sauce and fresh bufala mozzarella. Very affordable pizza, drinks and beers. Definitely recommend when in Pompeii.

We spent three nights in Pompeii and planned to sample the ristorantes around the hotel but each night we gravitated back to the Pizzeria Margherita. Apart from the excellent value for money the service was excellent, as was the food. We tried the pizzas and they were a must try for anyone who enjoys the real McCoy. The mushroom pizza... More

Could be summed up in one word, amazing. We had to wait 30 min to be seated which is okay as it's a small venue and there is a bar near by for a quick drink. The staff were friendly and atentive considering it was packed on a Saturday night, having lived in Ragusa in Sicily for the last five... More

The pizza here is probably the best you'll find in Pompei. It truly is outstanding, and it arrives very fast after you order. However, the staff is not as warm and friendly as some of the other restaurants in the area, and while I understand that we tourists can be a real pain in the rear to deal with, even... More

Fab authentic pizza in a restaurant packed full of locals. Delicious food and excellent value - for 3 we paid about 27 Euros in wine.

We were recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We paid €25 for an amazing anti pasta, pizza and salad and a litre of wine. The food was superb with the sweetest mozzarella DOC you could wish for. Our only negative - but not a problem for us.......they ran out of red wine mid evening.

We were advised to go to this pizzeria by the owner of the b&b we stayed in and we were not disappointed. The owner Italo and his family are so nice, they made us feel very comfortable and at home. The pizza's were soooo good, the best we had in Italy and very cheap with great wine. We had one... More

We had two pizzas and a bottle of wine. The waiter is very friendly. The pizzas were made freshly and just perfect. It is a simple place and very enjoyable.
