My wife Karen and I are just back off a cruise in the Med. One of the perts of call was Napoli. As we had enjoyed a wonderful two weeks break in Sorrento some twenty years ago we had been to Pompei, Capri, Amalphi etc. and so we thought we would explore Napoli. For years we had heard tales of... More

Pizza was good and salad was ok, but service slow to the point of being bit off-hand. We were in the upstairs room and were regaled with the guitar playing singer but have to say that the large Italian family having their meal at the same time of us really enjoyed the serenading, singing along and suggesting new numbers, so... We were taken to this restaurant by my relatives who are life long residents of Naples. They predicted the pizza would be outstanding and it was. This is indeed where the locals go. Try the Margherita, the national colors of Italy: red white and green. You won't be disappointed, And it is only a block away from the Gambrinus Cafe... More

This restaurant bisected by a narrow lane has the ground floor with outdoor spaces and for my euro the upstairs rooms with a little more distance from the usual hustle and bustle. Antipasti. Pastas are delicious and service generally welcoming if not always focused. Located off a major pedestrian way it's very convenient embracing shopper, opera lover, and tourist alike.

My husband and I visited Brandi on advise of our son and reading about the history. We enjoyed an arugula salad that was very nice and we asked for bread when we saw the waiter bring out a good looking loaf of bread. Up to this point we had not enjoyed any bread at any ristorante and this was very... More

The pizza is definitely one of the best in Naples, although I hated the restaurant atmosphere of being overly touristy with the singing guitar player. In fact the loudness of it distracted the enjoyment of the dining experience.

Firstly liked this place because it is supposedly where the Margarita pizza was first invented (nice touch hey). In a quaint side street & , if you can, grab a table outside. We enjoyed a sizeable pizza each, really could have shared one between us but we still cleared our plates! Reasonably priced & efficient service.

We left the place since the waiter decided to serve a table of people who arrived later. And it was no mistake: one of the guys in the kitchen even asked why to the waiter. The interior is quite informale but the area is nice. Many other possibilities to have a pizza around: they better watch out.

I went there because of its historical significance in inventing the margharita pizza. Pizza was OK but the service was lacking. Though we sat at an outside table and the waiter had to walk past us every time he went from the kitchen to the remote dining area, it took 20 minutes just to get him to talk to us.... More
