Good pizza, great value

This was the second pizzeria we tried in Naples recently, on the recommendation of Rick Steve. They have an extensive variety, all at reasonable prices. The quality was very good, but I'd say a slight step behind Sorbillo, where we ate the night before. Of course, we paid almost 50% more at... read more

Although the place is not the best appealing from the outside (and also inside), I have to say that the pizza Margherita (even better if it's a Margherita with real buffalo mozzarella) was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. Even the little bit of Neapolitan music entertainment was nice (at lunch time!). Waiters ensure a really enthusiastic... More

Best pizza ever. Probably not the only one in this fantastic city, but I just don't manage to change place...it's just too good. As good as Brandi -see my other report-, only difference is that here service is very basic compared to Brandi. Don't miss it!!

Sure they do take-away, but it's a great place for a sit down dinner, too. It might not look like they've got room, but upstairs is another four rooms of tables. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are fantastic. EUR1 for a croquette, EUR6 per pizza, EUR4 for a bottle of wine. An amazing... More

You might be a little confused outside the shop as everyone crowds outside just buying off the counter, but if you give your name to the server inside they will get you a seat. Best margerita pizza that we had anywhere in Italy - the sauce was so flavourful, like the tomatoes came off the vine onto the pizza, with... More

rather than queue outside, ate upstairs. organised chaos with very heavy demand. pizza was lovely, service is no frills, would have loved to have gone again.

Must try fritture, aranccine and crocete. Pizza was very delicious but in some places were burned but maybe this is the style they make in napoli.

We had fried foods and we enjoyed all of them. We got pizza fritta(fried pizza of naples), frittatina di pasta(fried pasta inside with meat and pea), arrancino(from sisily similar to fried pasta but in this case outside is rice) e crocche. We enjoed all of them.

This place is located in the old city area, more seating upstairs. The prices were cheap. Around 4 euros for a margherita pizza. The portion is huge.
