THE Pizza!

A local friend invited me to this pizzeria, saying "It's not a very luxurious place, but you won't forget their pizza". And was she right!! The venue is just basic (we had beer in plastic glasses...), but the pizza is exactly what they say: maybe the best I've ever had!

Came here in the morning around 11am and it was relatively empty. Ordered a magherita which was amazing. And it costs only 7€++. Staff was having their own conversations though and not really bothered to help take your order.

I go back to my home city at least once a year and make a point to try the pizzas that my friends claim to be the best in Naples. I finally tried the famous pizza of Di Matteo and was not disappointed. My bufalina pizza was divine. The soft texture of the base and crust, cooked to perfection. The... More

There are 3 famous pizzerias all in the line on Via Tribunali (all claim to be king!) They all have a claim to fame. (Pictures attached) This the one visited by Bill Clinton according to the pictures of him eating on the door. (this is rather confusing given that the next Pizzeria down is called Pizza Presidente!) All have roughly... More

Yum! Fried calzone came highly recommended so shared this and a margarita. The latter would be my choice next time! Looks like a takeaway from the outside, amazing looking oven, such an authentic experience! Exactly what I had pictured an old Italian kitchen to be! €15 for two pizzas, a beer and two waters!! All round delighted!

This was the first place we chose to visit on our first night in Naples. All I can say is that it was absolutely amazing. By far the best pizza I have ever had. We had a pizza Margherita and a pizza fritto (like a fried calzone) which was to die for! I would definitely come back here and recommend... More

Can't fault the pizza (and this place doesn't lack for good reviews) but not served with a smile. When we wanted to take half of one of the pizzas away with us, the waiter just said 'box' and pointed to the boxes on the shelf. It was clear we had to do it ourselves.

We ate our first authentic napoli pizza here and OMG it was sooo good! We ordered a basic Margherita with an egg on top and it was one of the best I have ever had. A little joint with basic interiors, fast service and authentic pizza.Go grab a slice!

Super fast pizza on the go. This was our first napoli pizza and it didn't disappoint. Little pizza joint with plastic cups and lots of fried options. The pizza was authentic and good and the house wine was decent too. Lots of locals there and we went around 7 and avoided the crazy lines that appeared later in the evening.... More
