Matteo's as the local ex-pt call it is a legit establishment. Not expensive but great food! When you arrive you will see a crowd waiting to take their orders home... This is chaotic to say the least. Keep going you will enter through part of the kitchen but this small dining room is not the only one they gave... There... More

This is really too flight pizza - by far the best I have had in Naples. Grew up in New York City so am already a fan of New York-style pizza (Naples little cousin). Live in Chicago and am a fan of Chicago-style pizza (one might say the illegitimate child of the pizza world). Notwithstanding the foregoing I have to... More

Simple but perfectly done Neapolitan pizza. Never had better. Of course, the service isn't fantastic but what do you expect? You're there for the food and a pizza costs €4. If we ever go back to Naples this will be the first place we visit.

Just got back from a week in Sorrento and during our trip we came to Naples for pizza. After walking around lots we decided to eat here and put our names down for a table, which was easy to do. Lots of the reviews say you have to wait for a long time. This wasn't our experience at all. We... More

Visiting here was certainly different and we decided to have a couple of starters as this was the only Pizza place that actually offered them that we found. Cannot remember what it was but all I know is that I wished I could have had a whole plate full instead of just one little ball!! The Pizza’s were terrific and... More

So many better places, we saw this place on a TV programme, Gino couldn't speak more highly of the place so we thought of it as a must try restaurant. Wrong- must avoid. The staff are so rude and unhelpful, the pizza is good, but there are so many other places in Naples where you can get better pizza and... More

We had to wait 40 minutes outside because, but is was worth the waiting. Best pizza ever at a very cheap price.

I saw this Pizzeria suggested by a previous traveller. Also saw it listed in the top 10, not for getting a mention in a movie or renamed because of a presidential visit, but for good pizza. The neighbourhood is seedy by tourist standards - with graffitied walls, narrow streets and local residents emptying coffee cups out the window - but... More

We were looking forward to eat here after reading all the good reviews on TA. We waited to get in at 7:30 pm along with the crowd and were some of the first to be seated upstairs. So far, so good. When it came to ordering, the waiters didn't seem to notice us, non-italian tourists. Finally a lady took our... More

I don't care how good their pizza is, It is not worth the wait, not worth the walk, not worth being in that area for one second. We parked just 5 minutes away because there is no way you could park in that narrow street, and once we became close we saw the street packed with people. You have to... More
