Walked into the T. A. P. establishment which was busy on that day ( Italian national holiday 15th august) . Asked waiter how long wait would be as there were a couple more before me and my wife. Maybe because i was of chinese complexion waiter turns to me and tells me that the meal would cost 20 to 25... More

We went there in the hope of eating a delicious seafood linguini. The waiter suggested that we get the "very good" antipasta to start, so of course we said yes. We were food perving whilst waiting, hoping that we would get the sardines and the prosciutto with mozzarella. What happened was all of the above plus more. We got about... More

the food is good if you know what to choose and if you speak Italian, otherwise they are very very unkind and they don't help you ... they don't speak English and than they give you bad food .... the housewine is very very bad ...

Recommended by Hotel Il Convento having had previous bad experience down at the port. Great value for money. A family run Italian restaurant. Service was very attentive but could be improved. I eat a lot faster than my mother ( so I keep being told) so once I was finished they cleared away my plate while my mother was still... More

You are unlikely to just wander past, but this place is worth finding. Only just off "via toledo" they specialise in seafood and a little local language will be useful. We liked it the first time so we booked again the next day as it can get very busy. Superb food, very friendly, incredible value.

Went here as the place was recommended by the hotel. Our welcome and general service was poor. I ordered fresh fish which was delightful, my boyfriend first asked for sausage and mushroom pasta and was told it was out of season??? He then tried pasta and peas, that was also out of season??? He eventually asked what they did have... More

We were keen to find a fish restaurant in Naples on a Sunday night, but wanted to stay away from the pricier haunts down on the sea front. This was the perfect solution. A very genuine family-run restaurant with a clientèle of locals and tourists. Very relaxed. Great food, lovely fresh fish and vegetables, fantastic pasta and Neapolitan dishes. Would... More

Me and my whole family went to A Pignata to celebrate my mum birthday. Anna, one of the owners and the waiters are simply delightful and always willing to help. The food is just magnificent and exquisite. This is the right place to truly experience the real Neapolitan cuisine. As a Neapolitan man I honestly can't tell you what dish... More

My boyfriend and I went there after shopping in Toledo. We did not book but we were accomodated without any problem. It was a family-run type place with a mix of locals and tourists. Once we were seated we saw a small queue forming outside so I guess this place had a good reputation. One down side was the limited... More
