Classic Trattoira

This trattoira has a good rating, but iven so it was full with mostly local people on a Friday night. So we waited outside for 10-15 minutes to get a table while they brought a bottle of housewine and a little bruschetta to get us started. We just had a pizza and their "Cornamuse" (bagpipe... read more

To book into this place for Saturday I had to call then on Wednesday and even then it was available only for 7.00. It was amazing experience. The atmosphere of the place is very cozy and traditional. I think we were the only tourists there. The waiters and the owner were very friendly and explained us detailes of the menu... More

While in Napoli, I asked our hotel concierge for a recommendation for dinner, however I wanted a place where locals eat and not a overpriced tourist trap. Well this little restaurant did not disappoint, fantastic food, very good prices and portions, and a very friendly family run restaurant. We returned the next evening again, The place was full of locals... More

As luck would have it, on a night when the trattoria was fully booked, our hotel guy called down there and was able to get us a table, during the early zone. The dinner was terrific. We ate clams, pasta, octopus, grilled tuna. Lots of Italians eat here. And they seem very happy. We certainly were.

We had tried several times to eat at this little restaurant, but it was always full. Then one day, we struck lucky. We had to wait a couple of minutes for a table, but at last we got to try it. It’s a very small, family-run place, and, it turns out, very friendly. We had their antipasto plate to start,... More

Friendly staff and the owner/manager was on hand and made a selection of recommendations. We had pizza and calamari for starters followed by fish of the day. Recommend making a booking as it gets busy very quickly after 7pm.

Born in Naples, but I descovered it just 3 days ago. Very nice family in a comfortable place (near to the Funicolare Centrale in via Toledo) and absolutely wonderful food! Try fresh fried small fishes and the highlight of the place: pasta e fagioli (beans) with sea food. You can also have a small cannolo or a Babà. Also very... More

Would have loved to join the laudatory chorus of reviews for this small restaurant, always full and looking like a great place to eat in the quartieri spagnoli, alas, our luncheon here was the least favorite meal we had in Naples. To begin: the antipasti plate left a lot to be desired, with the burnt bruschetta and the vapid piece... More

Family run establishment, managed extremely well. Great choice of food. Most popular place, so allow time to go around the TOLEDO avenue nearby (great shops), if you have to kill time, before your table becomes available!

This restaurant is excellent. The familiar environment is accompanied by authentic Neapolitan cuisine. The food is delicious and the service is brilliant as it is cordial and reserved at the same time.
