An eye-opening occasion for Pizza Fritta!

Our taxi driver recommended this place to us and it did not disappoint. We tried the basic magherita pizza and the pizza with mushroom and cheese - all good. We also had pizza fritta - a deep fried dough expanded exponentially to form a ball shape about 4 inches in diameter, and the ball collapsed... read more

We ate here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. We had the house salad and a delicious pizza that had mushrooms and parma….so delicious. The prices were very reasonable and they also have a few outdoor seats. We opted for an inside table since it was a very hot day and the AC was great inside.

The Pizzeria is located in Via Duomo in the old part of Naples. After having a Pizza in this Pizzeria, you will struggle to enjoy a pizza anywhere else! We went there in the summer of 2014 for lunch. One can sit outside and watch the world go by or sit inside for a more private setting. You can also... More

The pizza was extremely, extremely soggy! Our waiter wouldn't let us get one pizza between two people, so we had two pieces of wet bread to eat unhappily. The Napoli pizza was basically inedible because of how salty it was. This was all very disappointing considering all the awards they have supposedly won. Overall an extremely poor experience.

We first saw the line outside of this Pizzeria... it was Easter Monday in Italy, so we didn't have much choice as most of the restaurants were closed. we've been told that we need to wait 20 minutes, and so we did, like many others. the menu was very basic, approx. 7 Pizzas of the day. no English menu, but... We found this place by chance and called in for lunch - this was the best pizza we had in Naples, so much so we went back another day for lunch. The place gets very busy and the waiters can rush you a bit to make a decision but the pizza was amazing and cheap - approx 6/7 euros each

Stopped here for lunch. It doesn't look much from the outside, but the pizzas are imaginative and some of the best we've ever had.

if I can choose what to eat I usually skip pizza...but since I was in Naples I might as well try the Margherita...and I was really empress..I also tried the orengina (rice ball w/mince meat n cheese) and 2 types of mashed potato fried balls and one with stuffed cheese...all was very good. The place is really crowded but the... More

2 years ago we found this place accidentally, and last november when we went back to our beloved Napoli: that was our first pizza. There is no words how good the pizza here ( and how surprisingly cheap) For me this is the real neapolitan pizza!!! Cant wait to go back again and get a Margherita! or two :D

Abrupt and impersonal service from the waiters but this seems to be the norm in many crowded Naples pizzerias. All is forgiven for the excellent pizza and (by London standards) bargain bin prices. No complaints, our pizzas were creamy, chewy, thin crusted with generous oodles of fresh cheese and sauce. Beautiful charred leopard spotting on the base. The centres, typical... More
