Excellent dining in modest, casual surroundings right in the middle of the historic center. Service most friendly. The cuisine is primarily Sicilian, which results into very tasty and interesting dishes. We were so happy we both ordered 2 deserts. Our best dining out of 4 in Naples (with L' Avvocato, Amici Miei and l' Ebrezza di Noe).

We were hesitant to eat at Ecomesera because of some of the negative reviews, but we decided to give it a chance and we were rewarded. The menu consists of creative twists on local Napoli fare. I'm still dreaming of a dish called Bionomial Parmigiano. It consisted of two loosely composed "tortas", both containing eggplant, one intensely smoky, one containing... More

In one word: Ridiculous. We had a platter with fried food to start with, which consisted of fried potatoes, fried cheese balls and fried chick pee purée. Very basic -- nothing to write home about. The pasta with nettle was tasteless. The risotto was way too try and was done with coconut. At this point, we simply gave up and... More

Really lovely food. A bit more expensive than many places to eat in Napoli but good value as the food was excellent.

We went there as a family of 5 people. After the first time we knew that we had to go there again. The food was delicious and they get their ingredients from local areas. It is a nice break from all the napolitan pizza's.

I went there with some family which includes two ~60 year old men who hates experimenting with food and only eats meat, pizza and chips (roughly speaking of course :)). Despite that, they truly loved the food they were served there. And so did the others. The only problem i see is that the waiter was very clumsy. He spilled... More

Had a authentic Italian meal (without any pizza). Delicious and varied menu. The restaurant was quiet on a Thursday night in January but could imagine it would be buzzing in the Summer.

Daily menu with freshly made food. The gnocchi marinara was amazing as was the ravioli. The waiter took the time to explain the menu in English (without being asked) - a restaurant highly recommended for the quality of its food and service.

Had the most divine dinner here. Everything was perfect and the service was impeccable. We had the pork medallions, mozzarella and tomato ravioli, and the chocolate almond cake. We will go back again before we leave Naples. Don't miss out on Ecomesara!!!
