Lovely but far too much salt

I really enjoyed this Resturant but they need to lighten up on the salt as the food is clearly lovely but it is not improved by adding loads of salt . Wine was lovely service excellent and atmostphere very good -

We just landed but made sure we came straight here for dinner before they closed. This is a wonderful treat, off the beaten track, creative and inspired dishes that you simply enjoy! This time round we enjoyed a gorgeous rich but not heavy celeriac soup with grilled octopus, yum! Anchovies in a wonderful nut, parsley and breadcrumb coating with a... More

Refined cooking in the backstreets off the beaten track. Proper restaurant 40€a head but well worth it. Deep intense flavour in all the dishes our party tried but no heavy after dinner feeling. Perfect. Well worth a stroll to search it out. Highly recommended.

We told our hotel one night that we were tired of pizza & pasta & wanted to try something different. Ecomesara didn't disappoint. The seafood was fresh and amazing, and all of the plates were visually beautiful as well as delicious. I wish I had taken better notes of the menu--I'm uploading a picture of a first course which I... More

Absolutely amazing food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Don't miss. We already want to go back to Naples for the purple potato gnocchi, the delicately deep-fried seafood, the tender and flavorful goose breast and the walnut pesto pasta absolutely to die -- or kill -- for.

The menu offers inventive and delicious dishes. One of our starters was anchovies with nuts and an usual sauce. The other starter was a beautifully constructed edifice of aubergine. The fish of the day was sea bream and it came in a tasty sauce. Overall, we had an enjoyable meal with good service.

We enjoyed an excellent meal- fellow trip advisors thank you for your reviews! Shared a starter of 'Aubergine tart' which looked a bit like a pale Christmas pudding but tasted wonderful. Main courses just as good, wine from Lombardie complementing them. Staff charming- all in all a great experience.

This is a different place to many restaurants you find in Naples. Ecomesara is innovative with Italian food, a rarity in Italy, and especially Naples. The menu is small but thoughtful and they have blackboard specials that change daily. We had three different main courses at our table and each of us choose a seafood dish. Each was cooked beautifully... More

This restaurant blew us away! It is located in some lively alley ways but it's a fun little adventure. You can tell from the moment you walk in the owner is very passionate about what he does. The service was excellent and the food was really great. The celery sauce was sooo good. I would love to return to this!

We found this place and tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. Although finding it on foot was slightly complicated it was definitely worth it. Wine and food were excellent and our waiter (who spoke fluent Spanish) was so nice we almost didn't want to leave. Try the octopus with celery sauce, the ricotta filled ravioli and do not... More
