Walked in, smiling cashier, we were obviously from out of town, attempted to pronounce "sfogliatelle," got one piping hot out of the oven, devoured it, walked away, 30 minutes later, purposely walked back and repeated all of the above.

Every time I visit Napoli, it is a must to stop by this pasticceria and try "le sfogliatelle" at the spot or take some back with me. They're incredibly tasty and always the same quality. I think it is a very affordable pastry, like many other places in town. I strongly recommend you to visit and try their sweets. Wish... More

Dawn, a few lights in piazza Garibaldi feels a slight cinnamon fragrance that wafts gently in the air, following that olfactory trace you get in place of the cult of sfogliatelle in Naples. The brothers Attanasio. Warm Sfogliatelle ricce and frolle at every hour of the day, the most serious pastiere of the Neapolitan tradition, babà soaked in rum, monachine... More

Located in Vico Ferrovia a few steps from the train station Attanasio is one of the most renowned confectioner's for the sfogliatella both riccia and frolla (crispy puff pastry or short pastry filled with sweetened ricotta cheese and candied orange peel to be tasted still hot from the oven. The shop premises are narrow and always very crowded because of... More

The pastry is excellent as described by other reviewers. It was fresh warm from the oven, very flaky, fragrant citrus cream and just delicious. The store is hard to find in a small side street and there is no place to eat the pastry in the store. You basically have to stand on the street to eat it, but I think... More

Just came back from Italy. This place is the real deal. Everything made on the site, not touristy. Sfogliatelle is to die for. Best we ate in Italy. We took out a bunch of stuff from this place and sat at a table at the caffe just opposite to this restaurant (they didn't mind bringing our own food) and had... More

The sfogliatella were the most delicious I had in Italy- I had at least 4 other bakeries to compare to. They even brought out an English speaking staff member to accommodate.

We had heard of this place and visited this past Friday afternoon...it is a two minute walk from Plaza Garbaldi ( main train station..and the airport/port bus) we arrived just as they were waiting for fresh sfogliatelle to emerge from the hot oven...you go in and take a ticket by the cashier, order then pay..it is a very narrow shop....
