This restaurant was just around the corner from where we were staying. The menu was attractive but we soon learned that not all the items listed were available. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients so we assume, although it was not explained, that is why some things were not being served on the evening we were dining. As a starter we... More

Myself and my wife were in Naples this easter and it was late evening on Sunday night when most of the restaurants were closed or were not serving dinner, it was this one that served dinner. It turns out that the food was excellent and service was superb. I would highly recommend this place for food. They have lots to... More

We were looking for a not-so-touristy pizzeria. This place looked promising from the outside, and the menu on display did say pizza. We were shown to a table and ordered water and house wine, and were then given our menus. We were surprised to see that the menus we were given only said pizza on Sundays - something that was... we were recommended this restaurant by a hotel nearby and certainly did not regret it. We just followed the owne´s recommendations for everything and it was all fantastic. seafood, meat, pasta, pizze -- all homecooked to perfection. we thought this might be a 'tourists only' place and went back a few evenings later (after the theatre) and the only people... We arrived with our 2 year old and they didn't ask us if we needed a baby chair (probably they don't have one) and took a life to ask us what we wanted to drink. The guy (imagine the owner) told us what they had -we already understood that in this kind of places you shouldn't ask for the menu... More

Fascinating 'Ntrenella, Pulcinella's fiancee. The "locanda" is nicely tucked in one of the most picturesque "vicoli", narrow street, of the Spanish Quarters, a micro-worlds on its own. Rino Artigiano serves traditional neapolitan cuisine with the freshest local ingredients. Cheese and wine are coming from Sant'Agata dei Goti, where centuries-old tradition mix with advanced technology. The Caciocavallo is to die for.... More

Head waiter/owner rude. Waited 1.5 hours for main course (rabbit) which looked liked leftovers when it came (single potato buried inside my plate, no one else had) All Italians served and ate while we were kept waiting.

We had a wonderful dinner at this delicious small family-run restaurant in the center of Napoli. So many courses, both appetizers and main dishes. Very good sea food, fish and special pastas (not to mention the mozzarella). Owners are extremely nice and professional. It's just a 2 min walk into the alleys from the Gambrinus cafe.

Charming space, kind and helpful staff. Locanda 'Ntretella served an excellent meal at an excellent value. I would highly recommend the cheese plate, which came with a large helping of mozzerella a slightly smaller (but still large) ball of Bormino (not sure of the name - cow's milk cheese, wonderfully milky!) and a small portion of goat cheese. We also... More
