We enjoyed lunch so much we went back for dinner. Simple food, well done. The pizza is definatly the star of the restaurant, plenty of locals eating in and picking up Pizzas to go.... A good sign in Naples!

We ended in Osteria Degli Angioni just before the locals have their lunch break from work. What this means is that the place was deserted when we sat down and ordered our food. After a while the place was absolutely packed with nearby office workers. Most of the people seemed to order pizza, but we had already decided to try... More

On recommendation from our hotel, we tried out this Osteria with high expectations. However, they were not met. Although the staff was nice and attentive to the table, we knew we were on for a spotty meal. The antipasti was nice - lots of fresh seafood. And we did have a cutting board of prosciutto and cheese that was mediocre.... More

We renounced to look after the famous "Da Michele" because it was late and we are hungry, and we hit by chance this place. We order one "genuine pizza"-simple, but made with fresh fior di latte, mozzarella and sun dry tomatoes, one pizza with wild mushrooms, eggplant, ham and cheese, and one recommended dish with austin cheese.Everything was delicious !... Unless someone told you about this place (behind the Mercure hotel in what looks like an alley), you would miss it and several other well-regarded places to eat). We ate there with two friends from Naples (my buddy and me were the only non-Italians in the place). Our antipasti, prima and secondi piatti were all delicious and reflect the attention... More

We stumbled on this place during an exploratory Friday lunchtime walk just after we arrived in Naples. We had seafood antipasti to start and the waiter offered us a fresh sea bream to follow. We had this grilled; perfect. Coffee to follow, all for under €50. Perfect.

The staff at our hotel said this place has the best pizza and they were right. The crust is the best in Italy I have yet in over a year. The staff was friendly and helpful too.

We ate fish of the day and starters with a glass of wine, ended up paying 60e which is quite a lot in this town.Night before were in a place round the corner, had similar meal+a BOTTLE of wine and payed 20e less... Level of food poor. Settings average with plastic chairs....never again.

The Osteria is a small restaurant close to the harbor where they serve businesspeople during lunch time.We choose pizza Gusti, tomato, mozzarella, champignon and aubergine. No paper napkins here! Walls where decorated with pictures from old Napoli. For once we had two big Peroni beers, and we enjoyed a small hour in this very intimate place.
