Best Pizza in town

Its a michelin star chef there, I heard. We ordered 3/4 kinds of pizza and they were all excellent, to say the least. Its located in a piazza, which is quite nice, although no hustle bustle there. The worst service and food we had in 14 days Italy! Staff was uninterested, extremely slow, it took three attempts and 15 minutes to get the bottle of wine we ordered which then was way too warm! Staff spoke very poor English but also did not attempt to understand or help. Most staff members were just standing and doing nothing... More

This a nice pizzeria, with charming and helpful waiting staff but with a bossy and domineering manager who seemed to frighten the staff. The food was good as was the local beer and the service was great, but the manager told the staff off in front of the customers, told the customers off for questioning the menu or the bill,... More

We ate here twice on our stay to naples and were impressed both times. The food is excellent and at reasonable price. The pizza was the best we had in naples and the wine was not bad either. However the highlight were the staff who were excellent and very attentive and accommodating. I ordered to have some ham on my... More

We were here for a late lunch, about 2 pm and were the only party being served. Their lasagne appetizer of buffalo mozzarella and raw shrimp was visual treat. I would have never thought of that combination. Both ingredients were pristine. We had the lamb with dried apricots. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the sauce excellent. We didn't order... More

I has a dinner at this restaurant with my partner. The restaurant is located in the center of the historic center, on a square bording the splendid church "San Domenico Maggiore". The restaurant has tables either inside, on the square pavement or on the restaurant roof featuring a very nice view of this interesting part of the old city. We... More

The food was original and the quality amazing, the services was very polite. The place was, in my opinion, a bit cold and impersonal.

We only ate here the once but from start to finish it was very good. Situated on a large fairly busy square it is also ideal for just people watching. We had two courses which were sharing starters and then pizza. Very good portions, good choice of food and wine. Good service and good value for money.

Perhaps it was deserving of the 1 star previously but it is not fitting now. We have been dining and wining in Italy now for over 3 weeks on a holiday in which food and wine has been pursued with vigor and passion, and this was a very average experience as far as the food is concerned. The staff are... More

Traveling with two friends and this restaurant and Piazza were both recommended. My pals and I ended up meeting here three nights in a row. We only ever ate appetizers and/or pizza-both were great. Casavecchia wine was our fave of the 3 we tried and that became our go to. It's a great people watching venue.
