A warm wellcome in a very cold day

Youdo notexpect to be cold, in april, in Naples. But it happens! If you are looking for very nice people and a nice meal, there you are. I can't believe it has a Michelin star. Whilst some of the courses were ok they weren't outstanding which you expect from a Michelin star restaurant. We were served room temperature white wine and in general the service was substandard.

We could've not expected more from such a restaurant awarded with 1 michelin star, everything was perfect, both the entrance staff, the food and waiter/ress so kind to explain every dish in such a detail way. Probably the best dinner had in far long time! The price is right for what you get and they even offered us a couple... More

A small (maybe 35 diners max) contemporary, first class restaurant in the piazza San Domenico Maggiore. Exquisite cuisine, service, presentation at a surprisingly reasonable price. Everything about the place is first class. Staff could not be friendlier. The kitchen is at e end and above the. Barrel vaulted room, overlooking the diners but in no way obtrusive on them. Highly... The dishes are interesting with innovative flavors , the presentation is imaginative and incredibly retains the flavor of the genuine "Napoli" ; moreover an complete wine list. All this in a beautiful and historic location, with friendly and professional staff.

For quality, service and value. A lovely conversion of this Palazzo to an airy and discreet eating space. Terrific menu with super dishes, particularly anti pasti and pasta. Great service and welcome with glass of bubbly, taster dish, special breads and sorbet thrown in. Sensible pricing, coffe at Eur 2 and a glass of good wine for Eur 6 cant... More

An imposed single menu on valentine day: our fault for being there on valentine day. An imposed wine accompaniment of italian champagnes: bubbles overkill. A menu composed solely of fish: too cold. Scarole pasta: there is a reason salad is not used to make pasta: too watery. You know these dinners where your heart sinks. You are sitting in a... More

We visited for an impromptu lunch - it was raining outside, a chilly, grey January day and we fancied a treat - which we certainly had. We went à la carte rather than one of the tasting menus and the food was really good. I imagine the prices are higher at dinner, but with a very nice bottle of wine... More

We went for the sampling tasting menu expecting 5 courses but actually got 7 courses. It was a delicious meal and the service was excellent. Particularly like the pork croquette and the kiwi sorbet. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't massively busy.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and loved the food since it was very innovative, however some of the dishes were missing some flavor.. I even had to ask for salt :( Just a as a comment while booking they mentioned the dress code as smart casual, however this was not respected since some of the attendees were wearing sweatshirts...
