While waiting for a connection flight we went to the city by taxi. Take care its normally around 20 Euros, but some guys want to charge 30 - 35 Euro and more. We had a list of famous pizzerias before going to Naples, and L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele was one of them. A recommendation : try to go at 7pm, not later because you will have to wait a very long line (which is absolutely worth it). We only waited about 10 minutes since we arrived early. But if you couldn't, just... More

Be safe when going to this part of Naples. We were there at 3:30 in the afternoon (not realizing they weren't opening) and were mugged around the corner. A guy attacked my mom trying to steal her watch while another guy fractured my arm throwing me into the street. If you go here, just be careful!!

The simplest and the Best pizza in the world! I have never tried anything as good as that pizza. It is worth to wait in queue for a while to try it! Highly recommended!

I can't say it was the best pizza I ever had, but this is the real stuff from Napoli!! Kind of elastic dough which is better cut by hand, amazing mozzarela di buffala and the simple combination with tomato and basel make a fantastic margherita! A little burned but I guess is normal, a must try in Napoli and this... More

Don't make yourself be deceived by the venue. Its pizza is prised by the most famous city guides of the world, but expecially by the locals. The service is kind and swift, pizza, crocche', fried vegetables (Italian frittura), paste cresciute are the only products they serve, but I assure you, you will eat superbly by spending the least possible. There... More

Environment menu and in the simplicity and poverty. But beware, this is its characteristic is its history! We have to have patience. Personally it is the third time I eat pizza here. I must say that over the years has decreased the taste, that goodness, that pizza succulent that it would eat two and whose taste you remained imprinted for... More

It is the best pizza I'ver ever had. AND it was only 5 euros! It is the perfect combination of dough, tomatoes and cheese. Each ingredient is superior and fresh. While we had to wait a bit to get in, once the order is placed, the pizzas do come out quickly. We tried the marinara and thought it was great... More

We have some excellent pizza in the New York / New Jersey area, including wood burning oven pizza. However, what I had at L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele in Naples was truly the best I've had anywhere. The freshness and delicious taste from the wood burning oven were second to none!
