Very good pizza - interesting variation on traditional Neapolitan pizza

Great little find: the pizzas were excellent, and slightly different from traditional approach. Compared to the standard Neapolitan pizza (hands down the best in the world) the dough is lighter, but still not 'bready' (perhaps they let the dough rise twice - traditionally, it's only once) and their... read more

Really enjoyed my pasta here! Prepared with care and quality and at the same time for a not to expensive price.

Just in front of the chiesa del Gesù nuovo, perfect if you visited it and santa Chiara. Fried fishes, good pastas and risottos, nice local vines

Mediocre food ( fried seafood overcooked, swordfish OK but arrived nearly cold), a bottle of prosecco delivered with 2 red wine glasses ( really!? In Italy???) and to top it off a €1.50 cover charge to sit down... Table next to us got inedible steak as well, the only saving grace is a nice location and the pizzas we saw... More

We ate here twice and the pizzas were as good as anywhere. Outstanding was the special pizza with a crust stiffed with ham, ricotta and broccoli. They get the baking just right here, so that the crust is thin on the bottom, charred just a little black to give that wonderful nutty flavour. Seafood pasta not so good: too salty,... More

Was here for dinner with a friend and we had two different pastas (6-10€). We sat at the outdoor seating which is heated and lies just beside a big square which gave the place a good atmosphere. I had the carbonara which actually tasted really good but was a bit low on the pork and my friend had the tubetonni... More

Found by chance during a stay on Via monteoliveto. A short distance away from the main Via Toledo with lots of Locals eating - always a good sign. 3 or 4 other bars close by if u fancy a couple of drinks. Found the service friendly and the food tasty. Nice relaxed atmosphere and more reasonably priced than others.

We were introduced to this small trattoria on the corner of Piazza Gesu Nuovo by our guide, Gino. We had a large pizza and a drink for 9 euros each! Ideal after a morning's sightseeing! Good quick service, tasty pizzas in a "tent" outside the restaurant, large enough to accommodate our group of 20. In a good position for the... More

We stumbled upon this place when looking for a restaurant on Sunday evening (when most small restaurants are closed so be ware). We ordered pizzas and fish. The fish was fresh and tasty and came with tasty antipasti and the pizzas were also tasty. The service was very good. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the... More

The HOHO bus company used this Piazza as their hub. When we sat down in this cafe we noticed that everyone at every table had an entire pizza. Even the children had their own . We ordered one with cheese, ham and tomato but in our case to split and it didn't seem to upset them. It was quite good... More
