Stunning!

The view from this 9th-floor restaurant is amazing. Even at night, when you cannot see Vesuvius, you can see the lights of Sorrento across the bay and the old castle right in front of you. Sadly, we were the only diners on the evening we ate there - but that did mean that we had 4 staff looking... read more

The restaurant is stylish and the view superb and the food was adequate but not outstanding. My husband and I each had beef, which was very tasty, but it was served with a few limp rocket leaves and a few potatoes. Dessert was a "chocolate pie", more like a pudding with a runny chocolate inside. It was adequate but nothing... More

On the rooftop of the Grand Hotel Vesuvio that overlooks the port, is perhaps the best restaurant in all of Naples. The terrace seating has views of Mt Vesuvius and the island of Capri. With superb service and delicious food, a winner all the way..

If you need to astonish your mates with a fantastic view and a gourmet dinner, this is the place. But you better get ready to pay much more than the average neapolitan restaurant. The food is fine and very well served, but I would appreciate a little more quantity as well. The terrace, especially during summertime, is perfect for a... More

Excellent wine list and good service, food is ambitious but mostly disappointing. Not worth the money.

What a beautiful restaurant.........indoors and outdoors..........white and clean and crisp........beautiful contemporary art complements the view. We came for lunch on our last day in Naples as we just wanted an easy lunch rather than a trip. After bouncing around the cobblestones to get everywhere, this is a pleasure and I wish we'd thought of it for dinner when we first... More

First class international cuisine served by attentive yet unobtrusive waiters. Magnificent for a special occasion as the view is delightful.

The location is wonderful- overlooking the Gulf of Naples from the top floor of Hotel Vesuvius, the No.1 Hotel in Naples. Seating was outside- there is one row of tables placed on the terrace outside. The ambiance is one of elegance, yet service- staff does not overdue formalism and is polite, but never stiff. table cloth and cutlery was in... More

we were surprised to find this restaurant on a purported Miichelin recommended list, hence we went. A nice view and an almost empty tourist hotel, serving "frozen dinner" quality food, with great pomposity. Avoid at all costs.

If you want to dine with a most enchanting view of the marina in Naples this is a good choice. The food is very good. The wine list similar to other good restaurants in the region. The service Close to perfect and the price not unresonable. Recommended.
