Good satimbocco

We had heard that a local Naples treat was a panini called a satimbocco. The pizza restaurant across the road from Napolart had them on the menu. Basically it's a pizza base, cooked so it puffs up then is cut in half, filled with whatever you like and then cooked again. We chose off the menu and... read more

Ate here 2 nights running!! We ate around Naples at lunchtime, but this place was convenient for us! Really friendly service. Great pizza! Had a complimentary garlic bread 2 nd night. Enjoyed the seafood pasta. Good priced house wine. Very reasonable prices. Ate outside and enjoyed soaking up the evening atmosphere. See you next year!

Ended up going here like 4 times while in Naples. The pizza is pretty good, and they all come in the typical Naples style, really thin crust and oven fired. They have like 25 different pizzas, calzones, and other items. Lots of room, and the staff and very helpful if you need assistance. They don't speak much english but will... More

First night in Naples. The restaurant where we went did not exist. It was recommended in our guide. So we asked a policeman to eat well and cheaply nearby. He recommended Via Medina, good pizzas cheap price. I hit Solo Pizza! Huge pizzas. My wife asked Saltimboca tuna, tomato and mozzarella, myself a Margheritta. The account service, covered and two... We stumbled upon this pizzeria which was less then 100 metres from our hotel (NH Ambassador) on via Medina. The waitress was friendly while we were checking out the menu so we decided to give it a go. It wasn't packed but it was 3pm on a Tuesday. The waitress was very helpful in explaining our choices, she explained rather... More

Don't be deterred by the neon sign outside (I usually associate neon with dodgy food), but when you pass this it opens to reveal a rustic Italian eatery. The smell of fresh pizza cooking in the fire is inviting enough, on top of that the restaurant decor is well chosen and there is a beautiful mosaic on the back wall... More

Just around the corner from our B&B, Fiorentini Residence. Some of the best pizza we had while in Naples, known as the pizza capital of the world. They can also make you gluten free pizza if you let them know the day before.

Went on a trip for 10 days to Italy, this was the best Pizza I had. Service was very good, accommodating to 10 college aged students who clearly didn't know how to order. Pizza was great. We only stayed in Naples for 3 days, luckily we went here the first night because we picked up pizzas daily from here for... More

We were directed to this restaurant by our guide who even accompanied us to ensure we had no problems ordering. There were 6 of us and we all ordered different kinds of pizza. In general, I think pizza in Italy is awesome but this was some of the best that we had during our trip. The prices were reasonable. We... More
