The food we were served was delicious, especially the Linguini with lemons from Sorrento. The service was polite and speedy.

You often find pizzerias in Naples but we were looking for some spaghetti. Located in Central Naples this wonderful little restaurant served us the most delicious pasta dishes! Although they were simple (eg spaghetti with lemons from sorrento) it was absolutely Devine! We had the panna Cotta for dessert and again I have never tasted it so good! The service... More

Just off the beaten track in the historic old town of Naples is this small restaurant doing it's best to revive old Neapolitan recipes, and doing it very well. The food is very tasty, the wine is good, service excellent and nice jazz music softly playing give it a cosy intimate ambience.

We enjoyed a nice selection of dishes and excellent wine by the glass near the University Frederrico II and the Church of San Giovanni Maggiore. Charming restaurant for dinner with good service.

Fabulous food only a tad off the beaten track. You probably wouldn't find it if browsing the myriad eateries in the area as it's just off the lower Main Street in the old town. The food is Neapolitan, not Italian (apparently!) and a fabulous mix of flavours - the sort worth slowing down for to savour it when you instinctively... More

If you are hungry, I don't recommend it! Mixed salad had a shape and taste of an "exploded cabbage". The staff is not friendly. Table tax is 2 euro per person - the menu says only 2.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us, and we walked there for an early dinner. The owner took our order; since the place wasn't busy, he took the time to help us understand what the dishes were on the Italian - only menu. He also served us, along with a couple of tables of folks who were clearly regulars. My... More

We were recommended this place by our hotel. We suggested they didn't recommend it again. We were greeted politely enough by what must have been the Head Honcho and shown to our table upstairs. After he realised we were only going to order a main course his attitude went rapidly downhill. You couldn't say that things were thrown down on... More

We were worried by some of the touris traps but this was not. It has a huge local clientel. The servers spoke some english and the menu had english as well. Service wag good and polite. Wine was cheap! Food was good, not 5 star but simple tasty meals and not the same old red sauce and pasta.

The best thing about this place is the food but it is spoilt by the hopeless manager. His best bit was his greeting when we arrived. That was in French but we are English. He smoked behind the counter, did very little work, leaving the waitress to serve and wash up. The poor girl tried to do everything. He shouted... More
