Excellent food, great atmosphere

We had a great meal and great time at this restaurant. I would say this is a perfect example of family owned and run restaurant done perfectly. Food is rustic but really good. The owner is friendly and helpful. I will visit this little gem again on my next trip to Naples.

The menu is limited....It doesn't matter. The wine list is limited it doesn't matter. The food is good Neapolitan fare, fresh produce cooked very well BUT the ambience is exceptional and when 'la chitarra' is taken from off the wall and the singing begins you are in for a rare treat. This was a wonderful dining experience.

Antipasto was a nice start. Pasta with pecorino sublime--perfectly done, every flavor distinct and delicious. We shared meatballs, divine, light and freely sauced; prawns were blanketed in lemon and garlic; broccoli rabe was perfection and I need to rethink how I make it at home! Limoncello was graciously offered and accepted. Owners were warm and welcoming. Loved the place! Dinner... More

We visited this restaurant on the strengths of the reviews below and we were not disappointed. A very simple menu was presented and between us we ordered almost every dish. The food was sublime, the house wine excellent and the service both professional and homely. Three courses each with lots of wine for just under €28 including service charge. Miss... More

A small and cosy place with excellent food. A must do in Napoli! People treat you like you are at their home. House wine is good and try the limoncello cake!

A small restaurant, in a dog leg down a cobbled street and then down some stairs onto a terrace. It is like entering a house. The host was garrulous and friendly with some English The food was very good, we were a large party and had a combination of pasta and fish dishes. The tomatoes that was the base of... More

Cute and cool restaurant, very personal service. It almost feels like being a guest in someone's home. Food was good, local and fresh. Lady serving us was very polite and nice to the guests. It's a good restaurant, a little bit difficult to find. It was recommended by receptionist at Decumani Hotel De Charme. I liked it.

Had the cod with chickpeas and side. My husband had a delicious bean soup and the full meal special for 25 Euros, including wine that our companions had - they said was great. Super close to the hotel - down steps and so look carefully to find.

If my husband & I returned in Napoli, we made up our mind to go to this restaurant. Because they are kind and give us good dishes. Tastes are very simple, its doesn't get tired of cooks. We ate "pasta-pomodoro" which they fried the noodlrd and a colve of garlic in olive-oil then putting on fresh-tomato. Tha's it!! But its... More

This was a perfect place, near our hotel, to eat typical Napolitan food. They didn't speak English which made the experience even better! Good wine and food. Recommended.
